I feel that Saff will forever be this type of person. Everything and literally everything she talks about is either her, her life, her family. Very few friends seem to feature and money is everything to her.

Ive just caught up with this thread and hadn’t looked since before she left M to cry for an hour. This is something I wouldn’t have done but like another poster said, her mum encouraged it and what Granny Weebs says goes! Her mother clearly loves herself and this has passed down to Saff.

Although Saff was engaged at 18 (you know the drill) I think she’s finding motherhood much, much harder than she imagined. She clearly says she can’t cope with the mess, she broke the cot last week because instead of getting a teething baby out of it to comfort her she got in a broke it! This insisting that M is in her cot regardless is getting a bit much. I get she wants her to sleep but sometimes you have to realise your baby is in pain.

Today’s insta is beyond snobby and I think she’s pushing herself a bit far and people will get sick of her. When she says Margot’s stocks and shares ISA I just despair. Money whispers Saff. You don’t keep shouting about it if you’ve got it!

The age /stage Margot is at, it is HARD work and will be for the next couple of years and it can be relentless. Teething, non stop cough, colds, temperatures- they come down unwell in a nano and buck up in a nano and all forementioned cause lack of sleep with a grumpy baby/toddler. As they would have experienced in Bruges recently when Margot came down ill there. You just can't live the same life with a very young baby as you did pre baby.

Re the cry it out sleep training - her Mother commented on the post that she did it with Saff and all was OK.. maybe it wasn't OK, maybe that's why Saff is a very needy, clingy, attention seeking young woman in need of so much validation.

Absolutely agree! In this day and age most 20 somethings have more about them than wanting a new wardrobe or facial.

I feel she’s a good homemaker but she wants Margot to fit in a box and I can’t see that working. It’s terribly sad really when you look deeply into her life. Her mum is very me, me, me and all they do is eat, shop, rinse and repeat. No substance. Does she even take Margot to activities and groups that she’d enjoy? It honestly feels like it’s all about shopping and GRWM’s grrrr
