She gives me the ICK with her trying to be sexy but in an almost teenage school girl/child like/harajuku girl way?? Might not make sense but I’m sure some of you know what I’m trying to say 😂
Too busy trying to tell a persona so the real her isn’t seen?

I do think this year would have been big for Sabrina regardless of the deal with Spotify (I wasn’t even aware that was a thing). Her success had been bubbling for a while, I remember when I saw her last year, the venue was small but it sold out instantly and then with her opening for Taylor Swift and having all of her connections. It’s not like this is her first album either, she already had a fan base.
I think the success would have been more similar to Chappells although Sabrina had an advantage because she already had a record to put out rather than relying on her previous one being more widely discovered.

Weeee finally managed to get tickets for the tour this morning (after trying at least once a day) and failing at pre-sale!

I think she has brilliant stage presence, she really knows how to work a crowd and a camera. Compared to someone like Dua lipa who has improved a lot but still comes across stilted IMO, Sabrina has a very natural skill in performing

Shame her voice is quite weak. It sounds like she's forcing the upper part of her range all the time and not supporting properly with her breath. That's an easy way to wreck your vocal chords.

She has a TONNE of vibrato in her voice and it irks me. Sometimes sounds quite goat-like or yodelling or something.

She looked gorgeous at the VMAs.
Did anyone else see her cover for W magazine? She had very minimal makeup and looked super pretty and youthful.

Well, Taylor stole the face Sabrina was previously using so she's had to find a new one

I’ve been trying to place her face for ages, then it hit me when my seven year old daughter was watching a crappy made for tv Disney movie. She was in “Adventures in babysitting” but it was maaaaany faces ago.
She's also the girl in the gummy bear just dance video.

Just realised "Taste" is pure filth,or is it my dirty mind? 🤭😳
The exact same thing happened to me, I didn't really think about it and then I suddenly realised what it was actually about and it grossed me out :ROFLMAO: Seeing as it's supposedly a dig at Camilla Carbello as well it's a bit much for a pop song I thought, I must be getting old.
I don't generally like this weird parasocial thing going on in music at the moment where it's made clear exactly "who" in the public eye songs are about. I preferred it when music was just music without this weird parasocial connection of knowing who/what exactly all songs are about. It's derived from TS's success I think.
I miss pop music being mostly unplaceable nonsense, personally
