”Water transports oxygen to the brain” 😂 No, Roobee, your blood does that. You breathe air (not water!) and oxygen goes from your lungs into your blood, where it’s carried around your body to wherever it’s needed. On the other hand, it explains so much about her, if she legit thinks you can replace breathing with water.

I must not have drunk enough water, because that was my single takeaway from the video. She’s too stupid for words.
Like, this is literal anti-vax, flat-earther, climate change denier, Holocaust conspiracy theorist levels of ignorance, stupidity and lack of scientific education.

Ruby still has all her notes? I barely have all of mine from my BA
Likely old clips of her searching her nyyyyoooootes on her computer. Her desk keeps changing in this video :ROFLMAO:

It seems weird to be using old clips of her in library and bookshops with a covid mask on.

I swear she said “precent” again…

Her back-to-school suggestions sound like that of a humanoid machine. Sleep: must do: memory. Water: drink good: concentration. Food: does not compute.

Also, her post-it note shows that she has been reading Thomas Middleton. She is such a conniving little person, secretly reading Early Modern Lit. I think she doesn't really share her "real" studying because: 1) would imply she is not well-read, particularly not for this specific course. 2) wants to seem like she can breeze through an Oxford degree without much preparation because it is no big deal for her as she just naturally belongs there.

The video is just a rehash of things that she has included in videos before as she has already mentioned about moving things into folders and getting rid of the things that you don't need, asking any questions that you might have for your teacher/lecturer, getting a good night's sleep, making sure that you are writing everyday and drinking enough water.

1. Not sure how moving all of my notes into one spot (without re-writing them!) is only going to take 5 minutes when I have to take pictures of all my notes and put them into a folder on the PC.
2. I haven't been to a face-to-face uni, but it sounds odd to me that a Professor will ask the class how the class will go/what topics they'll cover. Sounds weird.
3. She got stuck on the morning/night routine so that's going to be some new videos soon! I can't wait for them! lol
4. Academic writing? Ruboo not everyone has the time to practice how they write essays every day.
5. Drink enough water for recalling information and transporting oxygen!

Her tips are so basic that they would not work for everyone within all majors. Which I get but these tips are way too basic.

It’s interesting to me that she’s starting a back to ‘school’ series rather than back to university. I think Americans might be different but in the UK we tend to separate school and uni? Not a lot of uni students that would still call it school. Also, would calling it back to school vs back to uni cater to different audience ages?
Everyone in the UK does as well, it's only Ruby that gauges her life by primary school schedules because she desperately wishes she were TWALVE AGANN.

Talking about "school" would make sense if she were catering to a younger audience, but in this video, Ruby addresses the audience to talk about what to do at university in a "back to school" video, so she's just a braindead moron with a Peter Pan complex. Then she talks about "teachers" at "university" (as opposed to tutors or lecturers) and it's all a muddled mess that she thought would appeal to everyone when it's useful to nobody.

This video also proves yet again that Ruby did no work in her "traditional job" and learned absolutely nothing from the experience. She should've been able to approach this video with a new perspective, having allegedly worked with teaching staff in a school environment. But she just recycles last year's video again instead, with all the same out-of-touch, time-wasting bad ideas, toxic productivity tactics and ED habits, because her brain is sludge and she's a lazy, irresponsible mess.

It also leaves me highly doubtful that she even attended lectures at university, and certainly never paid attention. She claims that at university, the "teachers" will just ask you to tell them what to teach, which is certainly not a thing that ever happened in my time at university. This is some Erimentha-level daydream nonsense where the teachers ask Ruby to take the lead with teaching everyone.

Ruby also can't seem to decide if she's trying to double down on her fake AMMA WATSYON accent or phase it out. So she goes from saying this:

"In TWANTY-NOINTEEN, an 'AM I TEA?' stoddy founddd thatttt theeee...LASS STYEEDENTS SLAPPED during the TARRMMM, the WARSE THARR TASST SCORES WARR." (Remember, lasses, increase your scores by slapping more.)

...to sections of narration at 03:40 where she just drops the fake accent entirely.

It didn't happen during my time at university either because in each lesson we had a list of what would be taught each week; for example in the first week we were taught about one-way between-subjects ANOVA and the week after we were taught about one-way within-subjects ANOVA.

It's very telling as to why her own writing is still so bad that she is still sharing this "write at least 10 minutes a day to improve your writing" idea. I don't think doing this without getting feedback and critically analysing your writing will do a whole lot to actually improve your writing. Especially not in macadamia.

"Ackshually, what oiy mannt was..."

"Oiy could possibly beee wrong about sommthing onnrelated, boht mwoar reesaaarch is required..."

Just accept that you're a moron and pay more attention when making content to seem less stupid in future, Ruby, it's not hard.

The death rattle of PONKERPODTIFTI must be eating away at Ruby's fragile ego, since she's finally got off her ass to go visit the printer/warehouse in a last-ditch attempt to convince people that she JANUINELY has some involvement in the business and HONNASTLEEEE isn't just a glorified marketing intern.

She reveals that after another year of alleged "hard work", it's exactly the same as all the other planners.

Aaaand it’s time (tomorrow, that is). 10 best study habits. Note this comes two weeks after the ”preparing for summer” video, because god forbid we forget about skyool for more than ten days, even in the summer.

View attachment 2351975

it’s going to be 95% recycled footage, hastily slapped together with her high-pitched voiceover and plenty of coffee anti-ASMR.

I recently got laid off and decided today that I’m going to take a gap yahh (or a few months) from employment and just study for a little bit. Roobee’s video will be useful, I’ll just do the exact opposite of what she says.
@Griftwood Oxford! Come on you have to take one for the team :)
Joking apart think about freelancing, it’s like 10 times better than employment and you can make a self employed pension :)

Even in her correction she's wrong. Hemoglobin (built from iron) in blood carries oxygen. Our body is also not gonna let being a little bit dehydrated prevent blood flow to our most important organ?? We would all be very dead after a night out if that were the case. She seriously lacks critical thinking...

Wait, a letter from a Somerset writing retreat? So Ruby went on another writing retreat after the Devon one?

Screenshot_2023-07-26_at_21.25.12.png

Nope, never mind, Ruby's just lost track of what the hell she's pretending to be doing and where she's pretending to be going while juggling too many lies about how busy her life is.

She even had to act like she had to cut this letter short because she was JOSST SYO VARRY BUSYYYY, even though she apparently had plenty of time to waste on yet another meandering, pointless letter in which she blathers about nothing but the weather.

"Every day without fail,(though the kind sometimes changes)."

Ruby thinks she's a gifted writer overdue a publishing deal, then she constantly offers up tit like this garbled mess and calls it a sentence.

Her handwriting is so....unusual? Why doesn't she do joined up writing and why are all the letters the same size? Why do her 'd's look like a's?
Apart from her signature 🤔

”We’ve been fine so far this morning but the forecast doesn’t look promising.” Why is someone whose entire personality is largely built upon the firm foundation of loving rain (unlike other girls) devoting most of a letter to whining about rain?

”I already know how warm the coffee will be.” Most coffee makers are designed to have the end result be at a certain temperature, and there isn’t a lot of variation in that. So I believe Roobee on this one. Odd thing to say, though.

Did you guys in the UK have those French cartoons that show you how the human body works? They were very popular in Italy and I loved them as a kid, so even as a 5 year old I probably knew that blood carries oxygen to the brain
