When all you want to do is to stay home and avoid the world, even a trip to the corner shop is an obstacle. I don't find it weird that the trip would be unnerving for her, anxiety is hell. I'd have sympathy if she weren't such a colossal liar.

Re: Recent Rube the tube's lengthy trip to Italy can someone explain why was she nervous travelling with her best friend? Am I missing something? Why was she nervous? I mean as she constantly tells us she was going with her bestest friend who she lived with whilst at Uni. She's more irritating than a gnat in a tent.
I imagine it's because despite living together at uni, they spent very little extended time together. Blakeney got to escape to see other friends (when Ruby wasn't inviting herself along and claiming them as her own friends) and had her own extracurricular jobs, while Ruby ran home for extended periods of time every week.

On holiday together, they're stuck together. Despite Ruby spending the last year shouting her "MOIY BASST FRANNND BLAKENEEEEE" catchphrase, that's always seemed a very one-sided thing. Blakeney seemed absolutely sick to death of Ruby by the end of uni, so I'm guessing Ruby was nervous that they'd run out of things to talk about, that it would get awkward, or that she'd drive Blakeney crazy and never see her again.

I don't think there's even anything wrong with Ruby. She's just playing a character that her YouTube references to.
Only thing is her actual personality may have become the character at this stage as well.

It may well be how she keeps her channel going as well. I mean, people who like watching Ruby like that sort of stuff, they’re not going to like it if she starts vlogging makeup tips or talking about love island or something :)

She has some severe mental health issues and has for years. She's not open about it, but sometimes she will throw in a random comment or be too lazy to edit something out that lets you know she is completely nuts. Like her phobia of being home alone or the unhinged 'I am an author' monologue.

What is an act is her 'I'm such a shy, nice, workaholic perfectionist' personality. In reality, she is a lazy, passive-aggressive, manipulative, insecure little snob. Reading isn't her favorite hobby, having her massive ego stroked is.

Let us never forget that the leaked videos of her university assignments proved that she unironically goes by Ruby Granger in real life too.

There haven't been any "prep" vlogs as yet nor has she read much relating to the time period her course will be based on.

Sorry you've had a rough time ❤

Sorry you've been having a rough time. I hope you & your girls are doing OK.

Re: RG tattle. Honestly it's the same old same old when it comes to Rube the tube. She remains all posture & pretence. She hasn't posted much on getting into Oxford really.

I get the feeling as to others she's trying to get together a cookery book and some kind of poor man's version of 'A diary by an Edwardian Lady'. The original was well illustrated and well written. Ruby's as of it was written by an 11 year old to proudly show teacher. I would urge anyone who decides to buy it to remember to re-cycle it after use.

We should probably all prepare ourselves for a barrage of Oxford-centric videos. Each one I shall be delighted to click not interested. That's not even been unkind. I'm not interested in a 23 year old posing as a teen in a bid to stay relevant with young people five or more years her junior. Ruby is, imo, a complete sham.

Just like her Summer prepping video that only came out two weeks ago, I bet we won't see any Oxford-centric vids until around christmas time, several weeks after starting at Oxford. Simply because she is that lazy.

Imagine being a self-proclaimed avid reader who's about to start their Master's degree at Oxford and still not knowing what POV is and how it works. Will she ever learn?

This is something it seems like half the internet doesn't understand! Totally baffles me. Ruby should definitely know better.

Sending lots of love and tattle good wishes to you @Scapier88 ❤

POV: it’s raining outside and you’re browsing one of the largest bookshops in London. You see Ruby. You drop the book you’re holding and run out the door. You forget to pull out your umbrella. It doesn’t matter. Survival does.
Wtffff not me being in Foyles (I think!) at exactly the same time as Ruby!! I didn't see her luckily

She should strap a GoPro to her head like Francis Bourgeois, if only for our amusement.

I think Ruby was at Waterstones, because it's her favourite bookstore. just avoid all Waterstones and you should be fine.
