Side note, her family home may be massive and expensive but I actually find it very claustrophobic to watch. Every space seems unfinished or half empty, with random pieces of furniture shuffled into rooms that swamp them, or cluttered with things that have just been dumped and left to accumulate. They clearly don’t look after the house or their extensive grounds.
By contrast, this is what one of the neighbour's sections of the manor looks like:

The property value of this place must drop every second Ruby's family lives in their slum next door.

Wonder if she’ll incorporate the queens death into her next video lol, some shots of her sighing and gazing mournfully out of the window perhaps
Ol' Lizzie's death impacted her so badly that she'll be extending her gap year by 5 years. She'll also be taking donations to fund Monarch Memorials in underfunded state schools.

Notice how Ruby neglects to say, "I've spent my entire life trying to imitate Emma Watson at the age of 11, so I'm glad you noticed!" and instead tries to pass it off like a completely natural thing.

I've slept on it and I'm still not over how bad that video was.

“edinburgh makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into the early 1800s” i am BEGGING her her to shut the fuck up. yes, it has gothic architecture but anyone who’s spent more than two seconds in the city could tell you that it’s exceedingly modern and not full of impoverished victorian urchins like she seems to think.

the whole gifted trip annoys the hell out of me, although that’s more on visit scotland. it’s not like the country is devoid of influencers, why not invest in locals? rather than wealthy english girls who have never given a second thought to the country and treat it like their personal harry potter larp 🙄

PLS I physically can’t sit through another one of her pretentious videos. I think I prefer her 4am Hermione inspired morning routines to this pseudo intellectual crap. It’s painful watching her make broad, irrelevant points JUST so she can shoe horn in an impressive sounding quote from a philosopher that’s tenuously linked to the video itself. Then she films herself with an awestruck expression flicking through a mouldy yellowing book, as if a book looking old and authentic automatically legitimises what she’s saying.
its so cringey watching her desperately try to prove that she’s intelligent by parroting long quotes. Intelligent people don’t start sentences with “as (insert impressive name here) said…” unless they’re in a practical criticism seminar. And even then they’re expected to use the quote as a springboard to supplement their ideas, not to prove that they’ve memorised it 💀

Also idk why but this picture kills me after she’s waxed lyrical about the architecture. “I fEeL liKe I’m iN tHe 1880s” as she stands on a very modern looking high street piled with bin bags and traffic cones. I’m just waiting for her to take a picture of a homeless person and spout some shit like “this reminds me SO much of the Victorian period. Back then people would rather starve on the streets, like this gentleman here, than go to the dreaded workhouse. Opioids were heavily used, and this is still the case” *man starts injecting heroin* “I feel like I’ve stepped back in time! If the walls could speak…”

Dearest Tattlers,

I was sitting here in my living room amongst its varying shades of grey and greige whilst my youngest was playing merrily and joyfully by the unlit fire when all of a sudden I was consumed with a desire to start writing to you all. To me a letter just captures mood & moment like no other piece of literature. Think of those letters written by the likes of Queen Victoria or Sir Alan Lassells and you will understand immediately. The thrill of receiving a letter is like none other. First I see the postman walk up my long meandering three acre drive. I feel my breath catch in my throat and my heart beat just a little faster. I feel both nervous & excited. I wonder is it, could it possibly be a letter for me. When it is I feel as if heaven has kissed me gently on the forhead.

You will have noted I am sure that I wrote unlit fire above. Even though it is a cool autumnal evening I have decided not to light our beautiful log burner. Instead little Beatrice is wearing a warm knit carefully crafted by granny who has knitted it from the wool from great aunt Daisy's sheep. It is so beautifully knitted that I would adore one to go with my recently purchased Granger dress.

You will have noted that I mentioned the wool from Beatrice's warm knit was made from Auntie's sheep.
Oh you should see them. I love sheep as they are so absolutely wooly. I can't wait for the lambs to be born and frolick lamb-like around the spring green new grass fields. It's so so sweet. You'd all adore it.

I must go now. I can hear the kettle whistling on the aga. The question remains which tea shall I have and should I make some honey on toast to go with it. Beatrice & I do so love a nursery tea. Beatrice is 22 by the way but she and I are just so attached. You should see her cute little room. She has an adorable tiny desk . It's white with Enid Blyton quotes and passages over it. My favourite is from Julian "go and sit on Dick Anne"

With fondest wishes dear dear Tattlers

She's got her ADDUCAYSHANUL dramatic voice on for a TikTok video and instantly makes herself look like a complete dumbass by misspelling and mispronouncing "symposium".

OT but people are literally moving mad coz of this queen situation, I was on a tiktok live yesterday and someone commented having a go at the creator saying ‘why are you playing happy music when the majesty has died, turn it off it’s not appropriate’. Couldn’t believe my eyes tbh.
It's just the most ridiculous shit ever. I'm glad I never really watch live TV, it's just wall-to-wall grey-ass mourning because an elderly woman died rich and peacefully. She's not going to get any deader, nor is she going to spring back to life, we don't need 24/7 news coverage.

I'd be all for this "the world grinds to a halt because an racist, n-protecting old woman died at the age of 96 after a life of luxury" crap if we all got to stop going to work for this never-ending "mourning period" at the royals' expense. But if we all have to keep going to work, then entertainers should keep doing their thing to keep people entertained and distracted from this nonsense. And if people want to wallow in sorrow, they can go hug their commemorative crockery and do that somewhere else.

Just seen her most recent video, where she claims to be travelling to America in the autumn... by herself.
Not a chance. She'll spin it into some kind of "oh I was supposed to go alone but then my parents spontaneously remembered they have friends in the area so they came along to pop in for tea"

Ruby is a girl who got *good* A-levels. After dropping out of first year she's got a 1:1 from a (excuse the snobbery) 2nd class university.
Excuse the potential bias, but as an Exeter student myself, I find the "2nd class university" comment unfair. It's a highly rated university in the country and my first hand experience has been excellent. If I'm honest, I think calling any RG university "second class" is disingenuous if I'm honest as think that's frankly untrue; they provide very good education and will have students who go on and achieve great things and receive top salaries.

The issue Ruby has is that practically any university she want to would be second class because she didn't take advantage of anything it has to offer. No society involvement, no socialising and no experience. Exeter's career department is elite too; we receive constant emails about events and meetings you can set up and they really do plenty to ensure you have ample opportunities after you leave. Ruby doesn't do any of these things though. She sat in her room, wrote her essays, did pointless busywork and the only social involvement she had was an hour of trampolining which she was often deliberately late for.

A 1st from a RG university should put you in good stead for life; if you have absolutely no personality, independence, life experience, or elements that make you employable, it doesn't matter where you go.

Whoever commented about Tattle on her TikTok, what was the point of telling her about it? Did you WANT her to come looking for it on this thread? You could have easily said that you saw it in her letter video.
