Absolutely!I went from being shocked about this stupid Roxy ozempic story to being furious. Mia Freedman of course appropriated it in some form and put it on mamamia and then promoted it on her instagram stories.
Roxy didn't accidentally overdose. She deliberately took four times the prescribed amount to lose weight faster,
She also went to her GP first who refused to give it to her
These should be the two most prominent things in the article. There are doctors who are doing the right thing with this drug when there is a shortage and there are people who need it to survive.
The Mamamia article about it was possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever actually read. Like in what universe is purposely and knowingly giving yourself FOUR TIMES the initial recommended/prescribed dose (that was never even actually prescribed for her, full stop) an ‘accidental OD’?!
Like, I know Roxy is basically without shame at this point but holy tit how is she not embarrassed to be sharing this story of her own wilful idiotic choices with the world?!
But of course there’s Mia Freedman and endless other media outlets with zero ethics willing to pick up the story and run it to fit with their ‘evil Ozempic’ nonsense
