This house in Lewes also has an awesome bathroom - you need steps to get into the bath

I love browsing Inigo for interior decor - they have the best houses, although well out of my price range!
Oh wow, I live near here and have always wondered what this place looked like inside! It sits on top of a hill up a private road and it always looks so creepy and imposing!

Three weird listing's.

This house is owned by Robert Webb (of Peep Show fame). It's a huge amount of land but the house itself - although it's been carefully restored - I just found a bit underwhelming? Feels a bit too modern inside and like a holiday home (which I guess it probably was)

I love this, it needs a good garden designer to add some planting and a patio. Then add some colour and art throughout and it would be a beautiful home. (Would also have taken exterior shots on a sunny day to show it off!)

I think you're right - it's a bit too much of a blank canvas. Some colour injected into it would help (and better shots of the exterior).

The mention the accessible bedroom and living room but a wheelchair users wouldn't be able to get to the rest of the house because there's steps everywhere 🤷‍♂️

Definitely needs some more personality. It's not as isolated as it looks from the pictures either which is probably a good thing.

Not sure what type of person would live there for that kind of money. There's some walking but there's better areas for that. I just feel like it would be boring to live there long term (and I am a home body).

Beautiful house, but I'm guessing anyone with that kind of budget is going to use bedroom 4 as a dressing room for the principal bedroom and turn it into a suite, so essentially only a 4-bed house. Picture 41 made me laugh - 'Grounds' and it's a wonky picture of a bit of hard standing badly in need of some weed control!

I'm guessing if it's a second home and they don't use it much, the double council tax charge is getting painful. Assuming it's in the top band they'll be paying just over £8k a year.
