I always wonder how people sleep with those balcony bedrooms. I need it pitch dark. Otherwise I wouldn't mind that!

Nice house and Crosshill is in ayrshire where properties are cheap. Ayr and Kilmarnock are the larger towns in area.
The main drawback to living in ayrshire is that you have to travel up to Glasgow (busy) to get almost everywhere else. And edinburgh is quite a trek. So it can feel a chore to go other places at times. Public transport to Glasgow very good.
However the coastal views in ayrshire are fabulous. Nice beaches. And there's plenty of ferries to different areas. Arran, Cumbrae, Bute and Dunoon.

Probably underfloor heating would be my guess since it was fully renovated within the last 5 years
I was going to say, there are a few pictures with radiators in them and the description mentions a boiler room - so oil, wood pellets or LPG.
Completely blanked on that radiator! Not sure they have them in all the rooms but I guess there may be a mixture of underfloor heating as well.
Both bathrooms in the same property. That shower has to be a good 20 years old and the rest of the house is immaculate.
I clicked on it for the equestrian facilities, but the main house is pretty lovely too - only a few pictures of the inside, the rest is all the stables and grounds!
