This house is owned by Robert Webb (of Peep Show fame). It's a huge amount of land but the house itself - although it's been carefully restored - I just found a bit underwhelming? Feels a bit too modern inside and like a holiday home (which I guess it probably was)
I love this, it needs a good garden designer to add some planting and a patio. Then add some colour and art throughout and it would be a beautiful home. (Would also have taken exterior shots on a sunny day to show it off!)

..” Emily Powell has also committed to maintaining the work after the sale, refreshing and hand painting every five years for the rest of her life for the future owner - something uniquely additional to the sale of the house"
Now, would that be "Nah, you're alright" or would you hand her a big tub of white emulsion and a roller and and tell her to crack on?

Plenty of room but the ceilings look low , might be the ' stretched ' photographs , so beloved of estate agents nowadays....

This is my frustration with estate agents, we are tentatively looking for a new house, the garden is important to us but they are all fish eye photographed. It means that I am not visiting properties because I know the photos aren't realistic. Don't get me started on the 'artsy' photos of random objects that don't come with the houses ...a beautiful lamp or a throw with a book on it!
