You would become square-eyed living in that house! It’s a ‘design’ nightmare. 🤣 The toilet in the shower made me laugh…oh my giddy aunt. 🤣 I never understand people who have shiny tiles in kitchens and bathrooms. Any spillage and you would be slip sliding your way around those floors! 🤣🙄

A pool is nice...but in Nottingham I'd question how much use you'd get out of it. They also cost a fortune to heat (alternatively, you don't heat it, but I had a friend in SW England who had an unheated pool and that was unusable for about 50 weeks of the year!). The pools also some distance from the house, I think if I was having a pool I'd want it much closer.

I know two people who have had pools put in, both are heated by ground source pumps which are expensive to put in but are incredibly efficient and you only pay for the electricity to run them. Both pools are in use for most of the year. I’m not sure I could be bothered with the maintenance though.

I think it's already been sold at least once since they renovated it, I'm sure it's been on the market before. I may be misremembering though, and I thought it was in Kennington, cause it was close to where I worked at the time.

Maybe there are more mad people about who love renovating awkwardly shaped, impractical structures at ruinous expense. 🤷‍♀️ I mean it's nice to have a good view, but I'm not sure I'd go to that much effort!
