I love him, and I love his cat pickle ( worth following her on Twitter!) I was so sad when ollie died.
him n Jane seem very down to earth.

I thought Extras was okay but couldn't stand The Office I find Gervais overly smugI've never liked him, and I really disliked The Office. I just don't find him fuuny.
I once went to a Frankie Boyle gig, he got heckled close to the end, I expected him to just hit out with a comeback.. It was the only heckle of the night, (pretty good for a Scottisg gig) yet instead he stormed off and didn’t bother to come back out to finish the show. Ever since then I've not liked him, paid good money and only got three quarters of a show.He seems the type of comedian for the smug, leftie, suburban middle class type. A bit like Frankie Boyle who has been trying to reinvent himself to appeal to that crowd over the last few years.
I cannot bear Frankie Boyle, his face is creepy and he's vile.He seems the type of comedian for the smug, leftie, suburban middle class type. A bit like Frankie Boyle who has been trying to reinvent himself to appeal to that crowd over the last few years.
Surely all the recorded comebacks to heckles are fixed? Not suprised the comics would walk off stage when they get truly heckled.I once went to a Frankie Boyle gig, he got heckled close to the end, I expected him to just hit out with a comeback.. Never seen RG live but can't imagine he'd react like that.
I cannot stand the office!! It’s like Dr Who, just don’t get it.I’ve never watched his UK The Office, and absolutely cannot stand the US version. No idea what anyone would enjoy about that show, but accept that I’m in the minority on that issue.
Agreed, I don't know many who have seen Extras but it's one of my all time favourite TV shows. Not a massive fan of RG as himself (apart from his love for animals), or any of his films, or the other shows, but Extras cracks me up every time. Favourites are the one with Ross Kemp, Patrick Stewart, and Sir Ian McKellen. It's sad how many of the stars who have been on Extras have passed away since then, George Michael in the Christmas Special always makes me a little sad.Extras remains one of the funniest things ever shown.
I don't know how anyone kept a straight face as the head went flying across the room.
Andy berating Keith Chegwin on set -- I nearly die laughing every time. RIP Cheggers.Agreed, I don't know many who have seen Extras but it's one of my all time favourite TV shows. The bloopers of the gob / fan scene are hilarious too. I don't know how they ever did it.Andy berating Keith Chegwin on set -- I nearly die laughing every time. RIP Cheggers.

Also. 'Super Army Soldiers' will never not be funny.
I feel like all the various characters he plays are funnier than he is as himself. My husband has been to see him live and had liked him, but said the most recent show was basically just all the same jokes, made even more rude/non-woke, for the sake of being offensive rather than funny anymore. And the jokes he makes about having loads of money are wearing a bit thin too, albeit it's great that he is helping all the animal charities. Not Ricky himself but davidbrentreacts on instagram is very funny.
