She does not have enough followers to be bringing in that type of money even in the US. In the scheme of influencers she’s basically a no body in the US and a has-been in the Irish influencing scene. There’s definitely more going on to support the lifestyle that she’s living.
This was my thought as well! Don’t want to give too much info here - I lived in the NYC area for a few years, had a convo with a friend of a friend at a social gathering.

Got into talking about influencers, I couldn’t tell you now what this girl even did there or the company name as it was so small but basically, there is a rise in “quiet mid luxury brands” here in the US. They target niche influencers with smaller followings. The idea is that too many followers will dilute their gauge of ROI but mainly their whole branding is no direct advertising -“quiet luxury” -to keep with the business model if makes sense. The more followers they have, the less targeted and “sloppy” they look. (Her words) I brought Erika and a few other Irish influencers up as there’s not many in the NYC market and she said she recognised her! (I got the impression this girl was full of it so who knows) I’m not in with this scene so I have no idea how big or small it is.

I didn’t believe her then on how much they were paying per post but if you take a look at her grid and google a few of the companies she’s worked with, you’ll see what I mean I think by the branding. She told me they pay $20-30K per post at times and even more for brand deal across months. (Like my annual salary 😭) I don’t know where she falls in the rungs of this. When she bought that summer house in the Hamptons, I was still convinced she had family money and that we were all just a bit tipsy but with the wedding now, the memory popped up and it makes absolute sense. I genuinely have noticed so many brands like this popping up and I’m more near to a different city now. It seems to be taking place of high street here anyway. Everyone under 30 in the larger cities is obsessed with the “old money aesthetic” the last few years. I got the thinking and it tracks with her whole “vanilla” aesthetic. I could be absolutely wrong here but it makes total sense now to me anyway.

Her hen would have cost an absolute bomb. Going to Miami would absolutely break you for the year. I think I’m off and she may make more honestly. But take into account, this is short term revenue. I’ve just put 2:2 together honestly. Curious to know what you all think. My nose is at me now! Thought this girl was full of rit but i think i missed the concept entirely at the time.

She’s loaded. The companies she works with pay $30K a post at times. Her audience is a demographic that most American companies want to tap into. She seems well networked in NYC. If I had to guess now, I’d say she is bringing in around $400K-500K a year but likely more. Now we know why the mam always has that smirk on her face 😂
She rarely posts though, I think she makes the bulk of her money from affiliate links. And I’d hazard a guess the wedding could be well into the six figures. Kind of thing multi millionaires throw not someone earning mid six figures. She’ll have high living expenses in NY too.

I moved to NYC thinking I’d make 3 times my Irish salary. I did and can tell you I lived a worse life 😭Moved out after a year and a half. Would have been better off Sydney honestly like. I genuinely think this person was right now. I didn’t give it a second thought at the time. I’m sure I was on here commenting it must be Tammy bringing it in because they do make $150-200K in construction here. Never made sense to me with story of her parents and debts.

Money laundering. Influencing is rife with it.
Do you think? Never thought of that now! This could be plausible as well. Much easier to launder money in the US than Ireland when you have small businesses. They don’t report revenue publicly unless you’re a publicly traded company (like listed on the stock market) I just don’t know how she’d get away those hens alone never mind the rest. Blew my mind like. The larger influencers over here with like 500K-1M followers live well but nothing like her. It doesn’t add up

There is no way. She doesn’t even post anymore.

She didn’t buy the house though. Tommy did. Professional salaries in New York are very high. If he makes 200 grand a year he could get a mortgage of 800,000. He saved 200 grand and put that down as a deposit.

I have a friend over there who just did exactly that. Bought a million dollar home. They have salary of 250 as a couple. I know it seems a lot but it’s not over there when you are making that much.

Yeah maybe the dual income. I think they’re both doing well anyway. People do seem to splash out when it comes to hens and weddings. I thought that Hamptons home would be more expensive.

I'd imagine plenty of AF links when she reveals the wedding. Imagine the Americans lapping up the Adare manor content

Don't think Retro knows any Americans 😂 all her NY friends are Irish!
You wouldn’t want to know many of them, trust me 🤣ah they’re not all bad though and find it strange she has the J1 like group.

Was quick enough to catch the dress. It’s gorgeous but is it me or is this backdrop and photo awful? Not symmetrical and looks cheap. Surely you’d get a better first post with the backdrop of Adare Manor?

That backdrop is horrific! Looks so cheap! That's such a weird pose too, she looks so stiff and unnatural

So disappointing but not surprised really. They really come across as new money trying to be old money and a lot of the time it comes across tacky.

The backdrop is so weird considering the wedding was in adare manor. They could have had amazing backdrops and a much more artsy and cool photo to share. Laura dorgons pictures are far more aesthetically pleasing than retros.

As someone else mentioned the illfitting clothes does her no favours

Spot on!

Very plain looks like an Oscars red carpet or something
That was my thought too - looks like a game show/ set background!

Also I haven’t followed this one in forever…. They bought a summer house in the Hamptons??? Stop ✋

Is that where the ceremony was?
