Where did you hear that? Would it not be against the regulations on the visa she is on? She’s on the ‘exceptional’ visa for people of outstanding abilities. Would make a lot of sense. She is run ragged at her new job and has no time to post anymore.

Well she can work as a self employed person.. probably puts it down as 'consultancy' of her special skills.. She could do any work at all really if a company or person paid her for 'consultancy' and she was not hired directly by them. I knew of people doing that in another country I worked in (not the US) when they would not have gotten a visa for a particular role but could get a business visa.

Those PA jobs are intense. You are expected to be at the beck and call of these rich people day and night. Taken her down a peg or two I’m sure.
