I had this debate on another thread here before. It's mom. I'm also from Kerry originally. Please don't tell people what they can and can't say when we've used that since when we could talk, thanks.

I went to college with a lad from Kerry and he said 'mom' - this was 10+ years ago too so not a new thing.

No more on mum/mon doesn't make a difference what one calls their parents.

Say what you want about the mother being a control freak, but damn can she come up and do my weekly shop too?? Some selection!

There is no way they are eating all that food. It’s all for the “gram” The mother survives on 40 major a day and cans of Coke. They are utterly obsessed and controlled over their food in NYC. Joey will need an extra seat on the flight back as he will be eating all the leftover Instagram food

Totally agree! The mother looks it and she's probably not that old. Kaelyn eating half a cupcake, as a full one might be too much for her. They ensured they plugged for their friend who made them too.

Came on to say that mom has left in the muck tubs of centra coleslaw and potato salad

I’m surprised Mom didn’t go to NYC. It’s been a while. They def have loads of the usual work plan - comp’d Kerry to Dublin Aer Lingus tix, a stay in a tacky hotel, the OTT dinners out, afternoon tea..
There’s a ban on travel to the US from Europe right now because of COVID, unless you are a citizen or green card holder. Erika, Kaelin and David can’t even fly back to the US, they’ll have to do at least two weeks in Mexico before they can reenter the US and even that is a bit risky.

It’s not terribly risky. I Work with international students at a uni in the US. And nearly all
Of them that decided they wanted to
Returned to the US went to Canada or Mexico for 14 days And none of them
Had a problem at the border. And same goes for colleagues at other universities students. She should just flog a Mexican resort for two
Weeks and she’ll be grand. More content for the gram

So true as if those little slips of things eat any of that food. Not a chance.

The half a cupcake drove me silly. Not a chance I’d leave a crumb behind me if I hadn’t tasted Irish baking in a year. Way too controlled.

No response about joey... Wonder why..
Apparently Kaelin is going to fill us all in on how she got the dog on the plane. Now either Retro just said that to get people off her back or Kaelin is just very busy in quarantine and hasn't gotten round to it yet!

I had a little search because I was curious and from what I’ve read aer lingus allow up to 8 “service” dogs on transatlantic flights. It says you need to contact department of agriculture beforehand to provide a copy of the Assistance Dog ID card and then also fill a form on aer lingus site as a special assistance request. But in saying that flights to/from the US have to follow very strict rules about non- discrimination as seen in the pic maybe they only have to assure it is for emotional support kaelin will be on later to tell us she put a harness on him sorry for the big long spiel but AL have to know it’s bullshit because I’ve worked in a different airline for ten years and I’ve only ever seen maybe 4 dogs in that whole time and I was doing transatlantic once a month

Totally agree with you. I’m from Kerry too and everyone here says Mom. Exactly, why change to “suit” other people
I’m not from Kerry but from Wicklow and I say Mom as do all my friends

If you're tested and quarantine appropriately I don't see what's the problem at all!!

She was tested, is quarantining and being tested again! Pretty safe I reckon.
