Help!
My mum is retiring this month and her colleagues have asked my sister and I for gift ideas. I have no idea what you buy someone for a retirement gift, I’ve never done it myself. They’ve said the budget is at least £50 but they are still doing a whip round so possibly higher. Does anyone have any bright ideas? I honestly have no idea what to suggest, my mum is difficult to buy for at the best of times!!

Well I'm sure you know what your Mum likes more than us on here.X. Is there anything she really wants or needs at the moment? Often I think thats a better present than all the usual stuff like candles, chocolates, wine etc.

Does your mum have any hobbies or interests? Sometime a gift card for an experience can be nicer than an object. There are lots of on-line companies such as https://www.tinggly.com/collections

Watches are pretty common retirement gifts, if there’s a nickname or small in joke that’s often engraved too
