Watches are pretty common retirement gifts, if there’s a nickname or small in joke that’s often engraved too
Does your mum have any hobbies or interests? Sometime a gift card for an experience can be nicer than an object. There are lots of on-line companies such as https://www.tinggly.com/collectionsHelp!
My mum is retiring this month and her colleagues have asked my sister and I for gift ideas. I have no idea what you buy someone for a retirement gift, I’ve never done it myself. They’ve said the budget is at least £50 but they are still doing a whip round so possibly higher. Does anyone have any bright ideas? I honestly have no idea what to suggest, my mum is difficult to buy for at the best of times!!
