Absolutely devastated to read of Catherine passing. Schitts Creek is one of my favourite shows and I especially love her as Moira. Very sad indeed.

I don’t know how I missed this, but we lost a real legend of music on Monday, Sly Dunbar, of Sly and Robbie. I‘m thinking of his wife and loved ones, may he rest in peace.

The drummer and producer played with everyone from Bob Marley to The Rolling Stones and Madonna.

I really loved her in two slightly obscure films- Best in Show and A Mighty Wind. Best in Show about the US version of Crufts is better and properly laugh out loud and her character is hysterical. A Mighty Wind is about someone getting old folk bands from the sixties together for a tribute concert so is a bit more niche but her character is the best thing in it

She also plays the partner of Eugene Levy in both so if you like Schitts Creek they are well worth checking out

Best in Show is very underrated.

Catherine O'Hara was my favourite actress. I feel like her films have been the timeline to my life. She was incredible. This one hurts. Sleep well bebe

In case anyone is wondering whether these two films are worth watching - they were both co-written by Christopher Guest (Mr. Jamie Lee Curtis) who also co-wrote the greatest film of all time - This Is Spinal Tap. Catherine is also worth watching in For Your Consideration, another Guest/Eugene Levy co-written production.

Can’t believe Catherine O’Hara has passed away. My partner & I watched Schitt’s Creek during a really dark phase in our lives & that show made us laugh so much. She was a genius & I will rewatch it again soon. May she rest in eternal peace
