This is really sad, her characters in shows and films were always so full of life and depth. And 71 is no age these days.

That’s it isn’t it, she was so alive. What a sad shock, her poor loved ones. Dammit she was so talented and funny.
Her as Moira Rose was such a unique comedy character, I’m sure I‘m not the only one who quotes her all the time.

I really loved her in two slightly obscure films- Best in Show and A Mighty Wind. Best in Show about the US version of Crufts is better and properly laugh out loud and her character is hysterical. A Mighty Wind is about someone getting old folk bands from the sixties together for a tribute concert so is a bit more niche but her character is the best thing in it

She also plays the partner of Eugene Levy in both so if you like Schitts Creek they are well worth checking out

Although I didnt like Schitts Creek and Beetlejuice, she was great in them

But for me its Home Alone and Nightmare Before Christmas that ill always remember her for.

It's shocking that these days when you see a frail celebrity in the photos and hear of their death, you wonder whether it was illness or Ozempic. Yes, I know that sounds awful but...
