When the largest generation that had a significant influence over the world is aging, it isn't a surprising they are dying off in clusters now. Five actors I grew-up watching on General Hospital died this year.

What to say about Brigitte? Not a great mother (she called her son a tumour 😦), turned extreme right and anti-LGBT, Islamophobic, criticized the MeToo movement. For the good, she was labelled a sex kitten at the age of 19, but refused to let that define her. She let her hair go grey, refused to get plastic surgery, Botox or fillers and dedicated her life to animal welfare.

I hope 2026 doesn't mirror 2016!!! That was one awful year. Starting with David Bowie and Alan Rickman and ending with George on Christmas day.

Still remember getting the news flash on my phone that George had died. Thought it was joke till I turned on Sky news 😢😢😢

Come on, it's nearly 2026!
And David Bowie died on 10 January 2016 which is just a few days shy of 10 years as of today.

I clearly remember hearing the news and how much of a struggle that day was. It really doesn't feel like a decade ago.

Yes. How Caroline manages is beyond me. That’s her father, brother and daughter all in terrible circumstances.
Decades of tragedies within or connected to the family.

She said she had no symptoms either. Just terrifying and sad.
I always find that difficult to believe. If you truly know your own body, you will notice something is up. Whether it be unusual tiredness or something, but I think the biggest problem is that our society is now so go, go, go and we have to tough out every day despite how we feel, most of us probably assume it's just tiredness from working, family life, etc. For me, for e.g, I believe I would know something is up because I often go gym and know when I am unusually tired because my workouts suffer.

I struggle with the output like I normally do. It's like men who ignore symptoms, they try to be tough and act like it's nothing, yet it could be a bad health issue yet they leave it and leave it until it's too late. Another thing is feeling like wasting a doctors time, yet I often feel like if you believe something is wrong then you have to really push the Dr for scans and/or tests.

Don't be ashamed or worried about that, it can either save or end your life being stubborn. For any of you reading this who feel something isn't normal, be extra stubborn and make sure that you get those checkups, don't be brushed off and if necessary, get a second or third opinion. I know it's scary to find out whether you have a serious health issue, but it's far better to know than not to, then find out too late.
