This just keeps getting worse and worse. But I can't help thinking TMZ is making up details. Why would Billy Crystal and his wife have seen the bodies? What I mean is, they tell us that Romy Reiner called them after calling 911 because Billy was basically like her godfather and one of the closest friends of Rob and they lived close by. But I doubt they would come there to "say goodbye". No-one wants to enter a murder scene to say goodbye. Plus, if the police hadn't arrived yet, wouldn't that risk messing up the crime scene? I sincerely hope they did not see the actual bloodied bodies of their friends. What I'm hearing is that they saw the bodies being taken away from the property when they stood there on the driveway which I'm assuming would mean they were covered and everything. Not saying it wouldn't have been extremely distressing for them but less shocking than seeing the actual scene where they died.

Also, it seems to me Nick Reiner stormed out of the house early in the morning checking into a hotel at 4 am and then must've gone back to his parents house because when he checked in, there was no blood on him.

I don't know how any of the people who met the Reiners on Saturday or was a close friend of theirs will recover from this. It's just such a gruesome way to go.
I wouldn't be surprised if TMz was making up details, wasn't they accused of that with the Celeste /D4vd case? and got called out for it?

Getting the best lawyers available so it seems. Where is that money coming from? 🤢
I heard that it may be the siblings or the family or one of Rob and Michele Reiner;s good friends. I heard that the family doesn't want Nick in prison they want him in a mental institution.

Nick didn’t look right from pics, maybe the family didn’t want attention drawn to the fact and that’s why his siblings have given him a good defence?

there are a lot of people that are close with Rob and Michele Reiner who know that Nick Reiner has a lot problems.

I think they are giving him a good defense because they are hoping that he will end up in a mental institution for life vs being put in prison on death row. I heard that Michelle and Rob Reiner are against the death penalty and I heard the following" California has had a moratorium on the death penalty since March 2019, ordered by Governor Gavin Newsom, which halted executions, closed the San Quentin death chamber, and withdrew lethal injection protocols."

His attorney seemed to be pointing in that direction ? How sad that his problems were ignored if it was the case, maybe this situation didn’t need to happen 😕

I heard that he was sent to rehab about 17 different times over the years so it doesn't seem like his problems were ignored all of the time. But TMZ claimed if true that Nick was somewhere being treated and it costed his family about $70,000 each month and I heard that Nick was getting worse and it wasn't helping him.

Whatever treatment he was receiving didn’t seem to be helping him specifically 🙁 wasted 💸💸

Can anything really help schizophrenia mixed with lifelong addiction tho? Its just an awful affliction. Maybe they wanted him 'at home' but he should have been in a facility for public safety. V sad life and waste of money.

I wouldn’t give up on someone because they weren’t receiving the right treatment , could be exploitation ? Not necessarily uncooperation?

Well maybe they need to be looking into the care he received?? I’m sure once the trial begins they’ll be a lot of focus on that area.

I'm pretty sure Mr. Alan Jackson and his team are already looking into the care that was given to Mr. Nick Reiner. Trial or no trial.

I'm so sad to hear that James Ransome has died by suicide.

I've never seen The Wire but he was fantastic in Generation Kill and It: Chapter Two.

Heartbroken for his family. Depression is so cruel and the fact he was so open about it and the sexual abuse he once went through would have helped people.

RIP :(

Argh, James Ransone - I can't edit but I had to correct that typo.

By the way, if you haven't seen Generation Kill, I can't rec it highly enough. It's an incredible series.

It’s sad for anyone to lose a loved one near Christmas, especially someone so associated with it.
