I was thinking the other day about Stone Roses and was hoping we’d get a tour in the next few years following the success of Oasis & Blur’s shows the last few years.


61 is no age. Thinking of his kids, can’t imagine how much grief they’re going to be feeling 💔

I remember first hearing the bass line of "She Bangs the Drums" on the radio and being stopped in my tracks. It was just one of a number of songs that we were spoilt with in the upcoming decade. I played that that album to death. The Stone Roses and the rest, when Manchester seemed like the centre of the music universe. Excuse me while I weep for my past youth.

Those poor kids orphaned at 12 is not fair. I hope they are well-cared for, they're going to need. RIP Mani. 🙏

In fairness alot of us still don't....I came back here in the early 2000s and was told by someone that I wasn't fashionable...I had the answer...."I'd rather be stylish than a fashion victim".
I see alot of women wearing what they are told by boutique owners, is fashionable...never mind that it doesn't suit them...

How strange. Listening to radio 2 just now and "Tracks of my years". It's filmed weeks,maybe months ago,and Roland Gift chose a Jimmy Cliff song. Then the news broke 😯

50 years together 😞. No matter what you think of the man… gosh I bet his heart is in pieces. Life is all about love - what a lucky couple they were to have had each other for so long. But my god, the pain of having to say goodbye… 💔. Poor man. X

Wow 50 years!! I really hope the kids are keeping a close eye on him, I feel for them too! 😔😔 I refuse to believe she was 80!! She looked like she was in her late 60s earlier 70s
