What sort of stuff have you sold?
I used it a couple of years ago and made 1k on old clothes! Simply stuff that didn’t fit anymore or style wise I’d gone off
Started again recently and found it’s been harder going as in.. some listings I’ve put for 99p and they’ve ended up selling for that

Yep. Although I don't make as much as you! £130 in 3 months it says I've earned. Worth it though when it's stuff that i don't want and just taking up space in the garage! A lot of what we just sold was old games from our childhoods! Couldn't believe they were still popular.
This is what we have done! Bought a bread maker from a car boot for a fiver and sold it for £50. Bought a keyboard off fb for a tenner and sold it for £70! It's easy money and such a buzz hahaMy parents go boot sales and sell Clothes on eBay they make a few grand a year doing it! They have drawers now where they store clothes out of season readyit’s brilliant and gives them something to do in retirement
Can anyone share any tips on doing this? What to look out for etc, been thinking of having a go. 200 in a month is really good!
Can someone give an idea on how you handle postage or what you charge for postage etc? I’m happy doing the listing but that postage side has always put me off as I don’t know what I’m doing
For clothes j think my parents for £3.95 to cover postage, packaging plus the cut ebay takes

I made £300 selling unwanted clothes and shoes , all good condition though as I wouldn't sell anything shabby( people do!) I always post second class to keep cost down for buyers, don't forget you have to consider PayPal fees and eBay fees at the end of the month, but it's worth doing if you don't mind selling some things for next to nothing.
I hate to be THAT person but remember if you’re buying to resell (not reselling your personal items) you need to do it on a business account and all above board otherwise the tax man might send you a big bill! I think you don’t pay income tax for the first £1k anyway but look into it
I’ve tried selling a few items on ebay but never have much luck. Even BNWT stuff I’d guess would fetch a few quid went for the lowest bid. It’s just not worth the effort for me. I don’t know how some people are able to make so much money, especially if they’re just selling stuff from around the house

The suggested ones are always just the actual costIt gives you suggested postage prices
Sneaky!I like selling on Ebay but their fees and Ebay fees take a fair cut before you've even sorted posting it out. I would like to one day make my own website to cut out the middle man so I can charge less for whatever I see but see more of the fee.
Having a bit of a nightmare selling on eBay atm. Sold something electronic for £350 and the person is claiming it’s faulty so raised a case and requested a return.
I messaged them about it but they ignored all my messages so I sent them a return label and then a week later they’ve messaged me saying they haven’t received the returns label, responded straight away but haven’t heard anything back since. Have a feeling this is going to drag on for a while & I can’t sell anything else in the meantime

I sell quite a bit on eBay, just my own stuff usually when I have a clear out. I always fully describe the item I hate other sellers that don’t do any description at all. I make sure everything is in really good condition, offer standard post prices etc. Somethings sell quick but others just don’t sell at all, I sell mostly Buy Now prices but you always get those cheeky guys that offer some pathetic low price, make me an offer doesn’t mean half the asking price!
I must admit although I do answer all those annoying questions from people that usually never buy it, sometimes when it’s a really pathetic question I don’t answer. Like recently I was asked ‘Why was I selling and item and did I have the receipt?’ Its eBay..people sell stuff! I couldn’t be bothered to reply!
