No issue with her at all and am a bit baffled by anyone that gives out about her working. If she was going out working 40 hours a week people would give out too. And if she was on the dole she'd be slated as well. Love that she's managing to make a living while still being there for the girls, which is what they seem to want as a family.

Also anyone saying she needs to cry off camera needs their head examined. Crying is perfectly normal and the less we normalise it, the more we appear to be in the closet about grief and mental health.

Relief that her husband is dead?! What a ridiculous comment. I hope she doesn't visit this site. I think it's a terrible thing for you to say, way out of line.

Slated for what being independent. The kids are at school how is she leaving them? She’s a great mother and been through so much so young. But the majority of mothers work they have to it’s called being independent. Instagram won’t be around for every in fact it’s getting so boring and the freebies will stop. That’s all I am saying.
If your husband died 4 months ago, and you had three small kids to look after, would you run out and get a job? If she can make a living from insta, isn't that being independent too? Plus she has the added benefit of being able to stay at home and look after her children. I know which one I'd be choosing if it were me. It's not like she sitting on her arse and sponging from the state, hats off to her for gaining a huge following and being able to financially gain from it. I don't see the harm?

I didnt want to comment on this thread and I don't agree with a lot of the criticism around how she grieves. Grief is individual, no two people react the same and is affected by so many factors. So it's nobodies place to comment on how it has affected her. I do believe she loves and misses him massively and maybe this is her way of coping. I don't presume to know her or what she goes through so I can't in good conscious comment on it.
That however also makes me form the opinion that she shouldn't use this platform to show people what grief looks like. Her grief is not the same as my grief, your grief, or her children's grief and she is in no way trained or qualified to help anyone in this capacity. If she were a grief counsellor, or therapist etc, it would make some sense. Not that it would matter if she was as she seems to ignore the people she is purporting to help anyway.
So it is easy to see why people doubt her intentions and feel like she's only in it for the freebies and easy money. Having an opinion doesn't make anyone a vile bully or troll.
She also imo needs to stop over sharing and over exposing her kids. The other instamorons are all guilty of this too but her kids are so so vulnerable, and their vulnerability shouldn't be content. I really wish there was more in the way of legislation to protect kids from these selfish idiots. A childhood lasts a lifetime.

I put up on her feed during her live with Brian, how Belfast shouldn't have happened, and she's blocked me.
Has she fuck all else to do at night only be on the gram and sifting though people's posts and getting rid of what she doesn't like.
That has cemented for me my opinion of her.
While she may be grieving, she's a sly, underhanded woman. Not a girl, she's 30 shortly.
Each and every post had people sucked in, while all along she was working away at her insta.
And Daniel did set up her insta page, Rachel's Home Decor. He encouraged her to do that as a hobby. NOT turn out like a wagon who steps on people to get notice.
All she's short is lip fillers and botox, and that's only a matter of time.
Looking forward to watching her fall.

Totally agree with you seglxi, Rachel is helping so many people by showing the awful reality of losing someone you love. Not one of us should pass judgement on how she deals with her husband's death as she is the only one going through her own experience. If you don't like watching her" crying into her phone" then don't watch...simple as that..
As for calling her " The merry widow" ☝( I haven't figured out how to copy posts yet) shame on you ....

This makes me so mad. I’ve two high risk children and we’ve done everything by the book and will do as long as we have to, and I’d lose my life if I was flouting the rules and passed the virus on. No need for half of them to be at the event. These haven’t a care in the world for the vulnerable. Says it all really
Rachel and the others are getting shredded on other threads tonight over this event and too right. But it'll probably be said we are saying she isnt grieving properly. I never have and never will buy a Bperfect product . Disgusting that event was allowed go ahead even.

Can we all accept that we all have experienced grief, be it parents, child, sibling etc and it's individual as to how we deal with it.
But Rachel is now on Insta, has her history of grief, like most of us, but that needs to remain in the past, like she has Daniel in her past at functions, promos, ads etc.
As she is public, gaining financially from being public, let us also acknowledge that she is now open to being taken apart and critiqued.....she is no different to any other Instagrammer/blogger, is trying to gain publicity and financially.
Being a widow does not make her special, being a widow does not make her get immunity to doing or saying as she pleases.

And back to it......High Covid and restrictions in Belfast and there she is in the middle of it.....close contacts and fingers up to her impressionable younger followers.
Disgusting.

I've just looked at my messages, I'm not great with instagram.
Just realised I sent a message to Rachel before Daniel passed, offering support etc and she never looked at it. She banned me yesterday for messaging in live about Belfast. She blocked me, without reading my messages of support back in March!
I then looked at other messages, and another stood out. I sent messages to Shannen, giving advice about some info she was looking for. I posted links and support, to do with her cancer, aftercare, and I messaged her. Just links and someone I follow that's in the same position. Again, never looked at. Bet she looked at her go fund me.😡
These Insta girls are just making fools of us.

Why not publicise it? Half of the problem around grieving is that people think it needs to be behind closed doors.
Its not something that needs to be hidden. Its healthy to get it out and healthy to talk about the experience, the new journey you're on etc.
Why did we insist on shutting everything away? It's no wonder mental health is an issue in this country when we are all expected to bottle things up and never show upset or anything raw.
Death is part of life. Its nothing to fear and doesnt need hidden
I'm sure Rachel's story gives strength to others going through the same.

Just watched the B Perfect stories & I can honestly say it was an absolute disgrace & for Rachel of all people who firstly made an issue of it being Daniels 6 month anniversary as a way to justify heading off as a distraction with no regard for his daughters where was there distraction? Secondly hanging onto the coat tails of Jac Jossa & Daniel was not only pathetic but particularly given these two reside in the Uk & if they had flown into Dublin would have to quarantine for 2 weeks but because its Belfast then that's ok!! So Rachel is potentially putting her family & Daniels family & all those who attend school with her daughters & their families at risk for the launch of a non essential tan. Honest to god when she of all people had first hand experience of how losing someone during a pandemic meant no proper send off for Daniel yet your happy to saunter around a bunch of people with no social distancing inside or outside the event really sums up Rachel now for me. An immature selfish girl who no doubt will be on later full of fake tears to try undo any public image limitation because that is clearly all she cares about now.

Thanks to you all who wished us and baby well last night after my comment❤ You’re lovely people . It all just got to me when I saw all those fools gallivanting around on a bus and parties , for a bit of tan and bit of fame and didn’t show no care in the world and I had a bit of a rant . I’m just taking it day by day, week by week, every week that goes by and baby stays in is a milestone for us , after the fetal medicine procedure, the midwife called and gave us good news and scans look very good since, thank god . Only a few months to go now ❤

i am so disapointed in rachel. I thought she had more sense. I thought she wasnt like the rest. I thought she would care about the frontline. I thought she would care about frontline staff who would have cared for her dying husband. Denise from Pelo you are just as bad. Money means more to you both than people's lives. Shame on you. Im disgusted. I didnt stop working for 1 day during covid since march. I worry constantly about my children. Arent you both worried about yours? Disgusting carry on from rachel and denise.

Damage control a bit to late
This is the definition of deciding to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. They knew this would cause upset, weighed it up and still actively decided it was the lesser of two evils to continue put people's lives at risk. And for what? A physical store for a sub-par cosmetics brand that isn't exactly a top player in the market anyway.

I hope their piss up was worth it. It's a slap in the face for everyone who's made sacrifices in the last few months. Every person who couldn't be with a loved one when they were sick. Every frontline worker who walked out the door to work every morning and risked their own lives.

And I'm not just talking about Rachel, I'm talking about every single vain, selfish, money hungry, narcissistic dope that turned up to that event yesterday. They should all be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Guys I think we need to put a line under all this and stop with all the giving out. Rachel made a huge mistake, she was ill advised and the people close to her should of stepped in and stopped her, unfortunately for Rachel- her mam & sister are loving all the attention so that’s never going to happen. Rachel is extremely vulnerable right now and she not the first person to make a terrible decision, I certainly don’t agree with what she done and what she does daily for insta but look at the bigger picture! I can’t help but feel for her vulnerability.
Nah she knows exactly what she's doing, I think last night was the straw that broke the camels back, ppl have been calling her out for weeks but got called vile, trolls etc its only now that her thread has been moved from the rave section to here that the real Rachel is getting showed for what she really is and that's fame hungry!

@R1208u1 Aww thanks for the warm welcome 😉

As you said this is a site to share opinions but my opinion still stands if you don't want to see someone "come on camera smiling and laughing then crying into the phone, nobody wants to see that!" then the solution is quite simple, in my opinion, don't watch her stories....
I've unfollowed plenty on Instagram because their content wasn't for me , why would I spend my time watching them?

Thanks for your advice on point 2...but I won't be fucking off if I don't like what someone says...free world and all that 😆 oh and thanks so much for giving me a chance to get to know how to use the site...so kind 🙊🙊

My own opinion I don’t like the crying into the phone, I’ve lost a couple of very close people and i would never dream of recording myself crying and then posting it on SM. At the start I thought it was just to raise awareness about that particular type of cancer. I don’t agree with the anniversary post and #collab at the bottom. Her sisters trying now to be bloggers🤔 I don’t mind the hauls, ads etc I don’t know what to make of her yet
