Omg I’m so pleased I’ve found this thread. This couple are insufferable. Shes so smug and her voice drives me mad with the unbothered monotone. As for the flan thing boozing on cocktails, wine and beer while breastfeeding. It might be safe in moderation but if you’re creating family content you have a responsibility.
He gets on my wick with the over pronunciation of K at the end of words. Such as when he says steaK. Once you hear it it’ll drive you potty.

I think drinking in moderation while breastfeeding is ok, but I don’t think they meant a glass or two daily when they made them guidelines.

im unsure on how much a glass of something is in units but im sure someone else will know

She was necking cocktails at lunchtime last week. Surely your tolerance after not drinking for nine months is somewhat less than normal seeing as they do seem to be regular boozers.
I’d hate be tipsy or on my merry way with a newborn.
(My initial post auto corrected itself to “flan thing”, for some reason?! It was meant to say “flaunting”).

I personally think both of them have a really unhealthy relationship with alcohol, mind you if I were married to either of them, I think I probably would have too. I haven’t seen one single meal served where they haven’t had some sort of alcoholic drink with it. This is her sat in the pub actually breastfeeding and necking a pint of beer… grim.

Just saw him packing a cool bag for a picnic at a farm and he put some cans of beer in FFS. Now I like a drink, but my kids are late teens / early 20’s. Not once did I ever consider having a beer on a family day out to the farm when they were little. He must be trolling FFS.

Yeah I don’t like to judge but the fact all 3 of them had at least 3 cocktails before her toddler even got home from nursery is a bit of an ick.

It’s definitely concerning. I grew up spending a lot of my childhood in pubs and beer gardens, even late on school nights like these lot because I had an alcoholic caregiver and the other caregiver didn’t care to address the issue so just drank alongside them.

Not saying that’s what’s happening here and maybe I’m just triggered but it’s not sitting right with me.

Yeah I agree with these comments they smoked 🍃 before her pregnancy was announced, how she had the munches a lot etc obviously during the pregnancy it wasn’t spoken about and we could assume she stopped, who knows if she did or not. Anyway, they did a lot of food shops where lots of alcohol Was bought I know they have guests etc but surely one or two and ask the guests to bring some now all they’ve done since the baby was born is drink. Beer gardens at 8.40pm on a Monday (eldest has school) it’s like now their more family content they’ve stopped mentioning the 🍃 and replaced it for alcohol. I grew up surrounded by alcohol, addictions you name it for a whole in my early 20s I binge drank but since having my daughter 7 years ago she has never seen me drunk we barely have it in our house too. I don’t want her having the same memories I do. It’s very unhealthy how they show it.

Exactly this. I understand this is her third baby so she is more sure of herself as a parent but I could think of absolutely nothing worse then being tipsy whilst watching after my newborn baby. I would be riddled with mum guilt for days and weeks after! I’m all for mums getting a break but when that break consists of persistently drinking it starts ringing alarm bells. That baby has spent her entire life around alcohol so far, even there family day out to the farm consisted of a picnic with alcoholic beverages being consumed.

As a parent of a 3 and 6 year old , the idea of drinking heavily and waking up hungover at 6am and being forced to watch Peppa pig sounds like personal hell

lm in no way tee total and nor is my husband but i do think both parents drinking heavily with 3 young kids (one being a newborn!!) in the house is irresponsible . What if there was an accident or a child was taken ill and you’re too pissed to take them to the hospital ??

I hate people who are holier than thou about drinking and such but their drinking habits are concerning . Especially when BFing !!!

The amount she’s drinking is insane breast feeding or not. You literally have a NEWBORN to care for!!
I'm 34w pregnant with my 3rd and not a big drinker anyway but craving a drink soon as I have my baby would be so so far down my list!! At some Point I’d like a nice frozen strawberry daq but that’s about as far as it goes!! Me and my husband rarely drink at the same time even when we’re out and the kids are being looked after because i like to know if we were needed we could be with them asap and coherent !!
and for the love of god why is she parading about in her bra!?? Especially with the MIL there! Cringe!!

This is the women who ‘taught’ the boys to effectively look after themselves when they wake up. Her eldest has been making his own breakfast since he was about 3 and sits himself in front of the tv until she gets up. She’s never had to get up hungover and watch peppa pig because the lads please themselves until she rolls out of bed. Obviously different with a newborn but she’s always had an easy get up

That is SHOCKING!!! do not get me wrong, i have been out and hungover the next day (and if my other half was in work) i would be on countdown until nap time and i would go and nap with the kids when they was younger 😂 but that was few and far between. Again like most on here i am not against having a drink when you have children, but daily just tells me there's alcohol issues.

I previously defended her drinking but it does seem to be every day and to excess… I don’t know if she’s trollling us all with it now because it’s been mentioned? Originally I just thought she was having a couple of glasses of wine of an evening but it’s cocktails, afternoon and night like she’s in Ibiza 🤣
