I like his cooking ideas but I have to have it on mute as the "what's happening people" is so iterating. I get that they have the air B&B but I just can't get my head around all these "influencers" who pack their job in and then their partner follows suit. How can you sleep knowing it could all be gone tomorrow, there is no stability and security. He could have easily stayed at work or even gone less hours.

I feel like they are trying to portray this look at us just had a baby a week ago and already back to normal life vibe?? I’m currently 7m pregnant with my 3rd and honestly I will be doing duck all the 2 weeks my husband is off 🤣 helping cook? Absolutely not.
obviously it’s only a snippet and yeah whatever social media is their job but i dunno seems unrealistic

Tbf, I was induced and it took 4 days so my fella started his paternity leave 4 days before baby was here so went back when baby was only 10 days old, so at 10 days post partum I was back doing school runs, cooking tea, basically back to normal life. I wasn’t recording all of it for TikTok tho which just seems a faff when you’ve got a week old baby lol

It’s so unfair!! But yes I’ll be in the same boat being induced! But her partner is at home and not currently working so i dunno just all seems a bit false!! And certainly feel like with 3 young kids who can be bothered setting up the camera etc! Im sure my house will be pure hell fire for a while when baby arrives but all part of the fun! I guess when social media is your source of income there is no stopping!

That bar area to me just seems like it’s a pointless exercise because what are they going to do in 9months+ when baby is mobile pulling herself up and there’s glasses and bottles within reach?

Has anyone else noticed how often she seems to be drinking? I get that pumping and dumping works for the occasional drink, but this feels like alcohol at lunch, alcohol at dinner, and more once the baby’s asleep to “celebrate.” I’m honestly just confused.

There’s no need to pump and dump. Essentially if you can stand/ are coherent, you can drink and feed. A very small amount of alcohol passes into the milk - the equivalent of the alcohol in a banana.

Lots of misinformation about drinking and bf out there. She’s not doing anything wrong

I thought this when I saw a video last night. She’s got a newborn that must be feeding more often than not so how is she managing so many drinks

Editing as I read the comment before me. I still find the amount she’s drinking strange, you had a baby a week ago, how have you got the energy to be drinking 😂😂

Even if it is a small amount, why would you want ANY amount of alcohol passing into your newborn baby’s system? If you’ve already done nine months alcohol free, what’s another couple while you exclusively breastfeed the baby?

Do you realise loads of food has alcohol in? Bananas as my example.

She really irritates me but I’m not going to judge her on this one when the science proves it’s totally fine. Also as irritating as she is, she seems like a good mum and she has 2 other kids so I’m sure she knows what she’s doing

There will always be any sort of research to back up your narrative, depending on what you’re looking for. Public advice and regulations are always aimed at the lowest common denominator. And the reason that there is typically a zero blanket rule is because it is easier to say no full stop, than to find a place to draw a line.

The guidance although in part is to prevent the passing of alcohol to the baby, it’s more so the fact that any amount of alcohol impairs reflexes and judgement in the mother. Also god forbid there's an emergency... who’s driving to the hospital?

Sorry I am judging her. You’ve just given birth, you’re breastfeeding and drinking every night - give it a rest.

This is it. Newborns can be crushed by overtired parents who fall asleep whilst feeding them, let alone those who are intoxicated. Saying that I do think she just thrives on rage bait. She always made sure her TikTok thumbnails were of her balancing on furniture in her socks with her big bump. Then eating rare steak and saying she doesn’t follow nhs guidelines regarding what age baby should be sleeping in the same room. I think a lot of it is a performance.

Their life looks so leisurely and calm considering they have 3 kids 🤣

also don’t they take the 2 year old to play groups or on play dates or anything? All they seem to do is go to Tesco. They don’t seem hard up money wise so it’s a bit odd they don’t seem to do anything fun.
