RE the cot photo - did someone say in the thread that JV testified that JMF laid him down? But JMF said yesterday that he was only in the room briefly and had to run down to cook his precious chicken?

I can’t find JV’s testimony in the live blog as it only goes up to a certain point - anyone know a way to go back?

The drowning in the bath isn't plausible in my opinion but I think JV and JMF don't know how to backtrack now they've said that what's happened.

Do the child cruelty charges regard to specific incidents like Preston's arm being broken or are they a more general overview of ill treatment over a period of time? Preston's arm was probably broken by only one of them and would be hard to prove which one, however both were aware he was being treated cruelly and did nothing to protect him.

He’s going by towels = bath. But Preston wasn’t wet at all. So either JV didn’t seek medical attention as Preston had enough time to dry or Preston was never wet. It’s so obvious JMF is lying about this and his over detailed Sunday roast bull! Preston had pretty thick curly hair. He was bone dry at the hospital. He’d been put in a nappy. One time you’d expect him to be naked and he’s actually not.

They've built a picture of continued cruelty through his time with them.
- fractured arm (injury itself but not getting him seen until the next day)
- vigorous spinning on the play equipment
- deliberately scaring him
- leaving him upset and stressed in the bath
- neighbours hearing him crying, shouting at him, etc

Yes and how much time was there of vomiting for it to stink so vividly that JMF thought it appropriate to tell us about his uni days wasn’t the window open for a nappy to be thrown out?
He must have a very sensitive nose cos apparently after their phone call ended all this vomit must have happened in about 30 seconds.
He even had to mention how much Preston stank of vomit as he held him after he died definitely what every loving parent would think of.

I just log on to the "RECAP" live reporting link from the MEN by googling 'preston live trial' it usually just changes to LIVE and starts updating at 10.30am or just before.

None of the photos of Preston show him with a squint, it can't have been that bad.
I can't help wondering if regular anoxic events from SA caused brain damage and a resultant squint.

There's a case in US Baby Emmanuel oics showed he never had squints etc then after abuse and eventually murdered by parents pics show he had significant facial changes.

IF Preston’s stomach was full of bath water and IF that’s the reason he was vomiting so much, you’d think the vomit itself would be mostly water and wouldn’t smell that offensive.

Happy to let him sit in his high chair naked and in the kitchen naked for hours on end but… just submerged in a bath you’ve let them nearly drown in.. better get that nappy on quickly!!
