I feel sooooo ill constantly!
this pregnancy is so different to my last ones!
I’m tired, grouchy, sick so so sick.

This one was another little accident/blessing
But I feel so different aswell!
I’m hoping to avoid a section this time though as it will 100% be my last (even though I said that last time)

Thanks everyone I have not smoked or drank since I found out I am so shocked as didn’t think it would happen to me as I have very irregular periods and long cycles like sometimes I miss them completely I feel like I know nothing according to my last period I am due in September if everything goes to plan I have an enormous sense of worry is this normal? I bought folic acid yesterday and have one a day didn’t know about vitamin d I need to ring the doctors but won’t be able

It says 5 weeks but I don’t really trust it because my periods are very all over the place and it asks for cycle length which my average is 44 days some checkers don’t go that high. I was meant to be seeking help through a clinic to test my fertility thank you so much I feel so happy I can say on here because I haven’t told anyone. I am just very anxious I’m going to order some tablets now I’ve only got folic acid xx

3+ weeks means you conceived over 3 weeks ago, so by “official dates” you would be 5+ weeks pregnant. My periods are also totally irregular, so I feel your pain with the difficulties of that. The only way to know for sure without having a solid date for last period, or for ovulation, is a scan. The good news is if you give them the date of your last period and your cycles are long, they’ll automatically assume you are further on (as they use the 28 day cycle model for everyone ) so you should get a scan sooner rather than later. What was the date of your last period?

I found out I was pregnant yesterday I am so shocked and now anxious as I have been drinking and smoking until he day before yesterday I have no idea what 3+ is on the clear blue I feel like I know absolutely nothing

I got a 2-3 and a 3+ in the same week when I was 7 weeks. Midwife will go from the date of your last period.

I was also drinking right up till the day before I found out I was pregnant as it wasn’t planned so didn’t have a clue I was pregnant. Try not to worry too much.

My clear blue did the same I’ve had a 2-3 and also a 3+ I have no idea so some websites say I could be 7 weeks and some 5 I am just confused and I’m glad it’s not just me who was like xx

It all bases it on the amount of HCG in your urine so if you'd drank more the day before ect, it would probably water it down a bit

Pregnacare make a lot of women sick, I had the liquid, I’d throw up within half hour of taking it

I’ve heard good things about the boots pregnancy vits but the midwives only recommend folic acid up to 12 weeks and vit d throughout

You can take folic acid all the way through, it's just very important in the first 12 weeks

After my sweep at 12 midday had contractions at around 12 midnight, worst feeling was felt like my bum was about to fall off! Unexpected ha
Called hospital told me to take paracetamol etc but ended up going in as felt I was in too much pain, was 9cm and gave birth a few hours later!
Super quick progression

Totally like nothing I expected (though I had no birth plan and tried not to read too much) but it’s beyond surreal having her here

Have you done the due date calculator on the nhs website?
It's not ideal about the drinking and smoking! But I'm sure that's in the past now you've found out? Someone I knew a few years ago smoked all the way through. Apparenly the doc told her it was more stressful on the baby to give up so just try and cut down.

That latter advice is not true although have heard it before so not surprised if your friend was told that in the past (unless she was telling a white lie to make her smoking more socially acceptable ) Plenty of good quality nicotine replacement products on the market. Smoking in pregnancy is always a Bad Thing.

Yeah, I had really bad trouble with Pregnacare and made me feel so ill. I take these Nature’s Best ones and have been so much better for my stomach.

At the 12 week scan, the midwife gave me a pack of folic acid and vitamin D tablets too, and said it’s fine to take those throughout. And said you can get them for free with the maternity certificate throughout too.

I love these names. My husband suggested Saoirse the other day and I really like it.

Saoirse is lovely! We had it on the list for #4 but sadly the addition of a pen ruled it out, and he is Caelan instead. All of ours are Scottish/Gaelic names.

I have never done one before 37 weeks. I’m having a section this time so will probably do it the weekend before tbh.

I only did mine at 36 weeks as was being a bit slack but then baby turned so I had to panic pack

I’m sure I did it about 32 weeks with my others. I always stick a piece of paper on top too with a list of anything you need to add last minute as some stuff for my bag I still use day to day.

Congratulations!! I only found out only a few days ago too, also my second, due date is (I think) also roughly 5 days before my little ones birthday
