Oh no! When were you planning the reveal? I hope you don't have to keep it secret for too long now
Tomorrow luckily! We are going on holiday with friends so I sent scratch cards to everyone at home who won’t be there. Specifically wrote on the back don’t say anything! My BOSS (of all people) who has been calling it a girl the whole time text me saying he disagrees with the scratch card. Absolute nob head honestly.

ETA he said I didn’t write anything on his. So must’ve missed it 😫

Just had a Brazilian wax mostly because I haven’t tended to my lady garden since May 😂😂😂 poor waxer. Ready for birth now though. Jeez, it hurt a lot more!

Personally I’d say go with which ever fits best. The next2me is good but it’s just plonked next to the bed, side down and that’s it. For this baby I’ve used it to rock a handful of times and raised one end briefly until I read you shouldn’t but otherwise I’ve never used the functions.
You could use one for daytime naps and one in the bedroom so if one is moveable, that’d be better for daytime perhaps.
Thank you for your help! Xx

After a bit of advice.

I'm about 5 - 6 weeks along. Woke up yesterday and had some very light brown spotting. Not worried as I know that's fairly normal. It was gone after a few hours. Woke up with the same this morning but now this afternoon it is now tinged with dark red blood and is heavier but not period heavy. I have no pain. I was going to call the community midwives just to see what I should do but they have closed for the day. No one tells you what's normal or what to expect so I've got no clue. Again I know bleeding can be perfectly normal. I feel like I'm being dramatic if I call the OOH midwife. I suppose there's not much they can do anyway. Do I just call them tomorrow, leave it? I don't know 🤷🏻‍♀️

From my experience the times I’ve bled at the start of a pregnancy no one seemed overly fussed as it’s just one of those things that can be normal or there’s nothing they can do if it’s not. I don’t think it would hurt to call tomorrow if you’re worried, they may refer you to an early pregnancy unit but they might not. Feel like the care varies each area unfortunately. Hopefully everything is okay x

Call them tomorrow for sure. They’d always rather help you now than later. You might be able to book into the EPU for a scan next week depending on your history 🩷

Someone has accidentally ruined my gender reveal :( I’m absolutely gutted! Have to try and pretend to be surprised now because my husband doesn’t know. 😫😭
oh my goodness that’s so crappy! 😔 really feel for you, hopefully you don’t have to keep it secret for too long x

I accidently put a laughing react as my large fingers were in the way 🥲 definitely didn’t mean to laugh!

Thanks, I'll call them in the morning. It's mad how it's 2024 and pregnancy is still such a mystery. Google is absolutely no help because it ranges from 'you're fine' right the way to 'definitely a miscarriage'. I've had light cramping pretty much from the day I found out

Anyone here with O- blood and had the anti-d injection? Is it true they inject it into your buttcheek? I’m fine with needles etc but the thought of one in my a is making me cringe. 🤣

Also, an update on the drama with my parents… the air has been cleared with my dad but my step-mum is refusing to speak to me and isn’t sure if she wants to be involved. So now my dad feels torn between his wife and daughter/grand-daughter. ✌🏻 I watched a YouTube video last night where someone said it’s an amazing feeling watching the people you love, love your children. And it made me feel sad that my own parents can’t remove their heads from their arses. 🫤

Can’t relate with the anti-d but I’ve always had the hormone contraception injection, which goes into your butt, but it’s always been quite high up!! I prefer my a as I can’t see it happening lmao

Usually in your upper arm ☺ only reason we may do it somewhere else is if you’re very slim, but the upper arm is the go to.

Also, so sorry things are so difficult with your family 💔

Just to reassure you that I had this, I went to a spin class and came back to some spotting, lasted a few hours and then stopped. It's highly likely to be implantation bleeding and is totally normal.

(When I called our midwifery service about it they wouldn't even entertain talking to me before 10 weeks... just in case you get the same response!)

Same 🙃 and I'm only 8 weeks. Wondering if I'll get a break in the second trimester before it gets worse, or if it will be like this the whole time.
Definitely need to broach separate beds with my husband.
I was terrible for it in the first trimester and then it settled in the second. The second tri is like a fever dream - so much energy in the day, no pain, sleeping through the night 🥰 then wham, back to this now at the end. Just had to have toast and then granola and yoghurt as I’m soooo hungry

Ok that sounds promising!
I'm starving as well debating getting out of bed for a piece of toast, maybe I will 🫠
Hope you get some sleep soon!

It's stopped again, but might start again like it did before. I'll call them in a bit. It just amazes me they don't tell you what's normal. I know everyone is different but they could at least have something that says X is normal but call us if you see Y.
