Defo girl, if it was a boy you'd know about it no doubtsWe had a scan at 16 weeks and the sonographer said he was 100% sure of the sex. Had our 20 week nhs scan last week and the sonographer said she thinks she knows what the gender is. Put the emoji on to cover what they think gender is lol
Any thoughts?
I have the exact same ad but I think it’s because I have such bad anxiety and keep googling stuff like this
I compared my first gender scan (boy) to my current pregnancy gender scan (girl) and honestly there’s no doubting itDefo girl, if it was a boy you'd know about it no doubts
We had a private gender scan and I had told them I wanted it in an envelope for later and they just got me to look away a ton. I never once saw.Do they warn you before they look at the genitals? I don't want to accidentally find out that way.
my sonographer (NHS) asked before starting the scan if we wanted to know and also asked again before doing that part of the scan to make sure!Do they warn you before they look at the genitals? I don't want to accidentally find out that way.
Ooh I’d have been so mad! Rude how you’re expected to make commitments around the time you’ve had a huge life change and will be recovering physically and mentally tooOh I feel you here. I had friends come visit me for the first time in almost 2 years and straight away we're like "let's get a date in the diary for Jan when the baby is here". They would have tried to come in Dec had it not been for Christmas. I resisted and we have no date yet which is good because I don't want them coming over.
I don't want anyone unless it's immediate family the weeks after birth, and even then I can't have people around every day or I'll go mad.
they turned the screen off when I had a private scan and the NHS 20w scan tne sonographer asked if we knew and said she could turn the screen off if we wanted to keep it a surprise. Worth asking/ letting them knowDo they warn you before they look at the genitals? I don't want to accidentally find out that way.
Yes. At our 20 week scan and our extra growth scan they asked us if we knew/wanted to know. After we said we didn't want to know they made sure to tell us to look away before they scanned those parts. You may have to look away right at the start though because I know someone who found out she was having a boy as soon as the scan started because he was in a weird position that made everything very clearDo they warn you before they look at the genitals? I don't want to accidentally find out that way.
People are weird. One family member “didn’t like” names like George or Harry that we shortlisted but wouldn’t quit with names like Ocean, Phoenix or anything spelled stupidly or made up like Tyiger or Grayclynn - not remotely our taste.Told my mum one of our baby names today after she’s begged for months and recommended loads of obscure, rare and old fashioned horrible names. She’s been saying for ages how ‘she wants to get the baby’s name right’ and she’s ’been researching’.. without us asking her or wanting her to mind you. Straight away she was rude and dismissive of it (we said a nice normal fairly common name everyone in here will have heard of that suits a baby at all life stages). Back to not telling a soul it is
Good luck!! Sending you lots of loveOn my way down the hospital for my C section now, wish me luck ladies! Scared isn’t the word lol I hope everything goes well!
My son did this to us - literally bum against my tummy, legs apart! The first shot we got on his 20 week scan was of his bits. Luckily we wanted to know. He’s 17 months now and equally pleased to show them off. We’d like a surprise this time though so I’ll make sure to tell them.Yes.
