Same, I’m feeling really low, I am just sitting around the house. I wanna go out and do things but back and hips are so sore. I never understood why women wanted their babies out asap, I was so naive 😖
I completely understand how you feel! I think it’s because we’re both so close to the end but somehow feels like it’s an eternity away! And all the aches and pains I’m just so fed up! I wouldn’t leave the house at all if I didn’t have a dog that needs walking, but some days I feel like even a 10 min walk is too much.
fingers crossed the next few weeks go quickly for us and the babies make a timely appearance 🤞🏻

I’m not in too much pain at the moment (30 weeks) but I want baby out just so I can stop panicking i about kick counts and movements 😩 who are these women who want to be pregnant nonstop, the anxiety alone has put me off another haha

I’d say that’s technically me. I have a 2 and a half year old, 17 month old and now this one 🤣 I have been lucky with easy pregnancies though (touch wood) and both my girls came with quick labours - didn’t even make it to the hospital with my second!

Hi all, checking in. 25 weeks now, feel huge and seeing midwife for weight and measurements on Friday - not good after an all inclusive holiday but hey ho.

For the posters asking about C Sections. IME, planned ones are great, very calm and efficient and you usually are discharged between 24-36 hours later. And you can drive as soon as you feel able - there is no rules about waiting ‘6 weeks’ (I’m determined to bust this myth!)

Just learn to commando roll - you need that skill for the first 3 days post op 😂

If you’re on lots of pain killers or don’t have full range of motion it can still it can be considered as impairing your driving (morphine and diamorphine comes under drug driving laws at a certain level too) so it’s worth bearing that in mind.

The 6 weeks thing apparently comes from the idea you’ll have had a 6wk GP check so able to prove you were fit if needed.
I had an accident at 7 weeks, fortunately not my fault so they weren’t really interested but we discussed it.

I was told it actually depends on your insurance how long before you can drive. Some policies won’t cover you for up to 8 weeks post surgery, it’s not necessarily about how you feel.
But equally I’ve also been told it’s about how you feel 🤣

Yeah, insurance companies just say “see what your doctor thinks” and doctors just say “see how you feel” - I was only on codeine to be fair, morphine would’ve been lovely (joking) but wouldn’t have driven then!

I drove after 16 days but could’ve done sooner realistically- as long as you can get baby in and out safely of course then good to go.

Also, my 6 week check I wasn’t even examined so that wouldn’t have helped anyone. Do people actually get examined at the 6 week check? 😱 Have I missed out?

Hi guys, I’ve lurked on here as I’ve had my last baby 6m ago but my friend has just had one via c section and i wanted to get her something for herself. Any recommendations? She likes lush stuff but wasn’t sure about bathing after a c section, as I haven’t had one.
This sounds weird but I took a lovely scented shower gel in, then I just couldn't bring myself to use it. I used scentless baby stuff because I didn't want to smell of chemicals 🤷‍♀️

My insurance said I could drive once my dr signed me off and they don’t even discuss it during the 6 week check. Just asked how I was feeling and how my scar was ! I waited the whole time to drive as I didn’t want to risk it, however I would have driven earlier if I needed to but realistically I didn’t feel like it for a good few weeks anyway

I had my anatomy scan this week and it mostly went well, the doctor couldn't see baby's kidney very well so they ordered me for another scan in maternity ward (they have better ultrasound there) and I have that on Monday. Hopefully it will all be well but I'm excited to see baby girl again so soon. She's currently breech and I hope she stays this way so I can request a c-section (no elective c-sections in my country, not on mother's request anyways which I find incredibly stupid).

My bump finally popped at 22 weeks now and I can start feeling how much harder it is to move, breathe and sleep already. It all literally changed in one week! It's so much harder to bend down now and I feel like the baby started to press on my stomach and I can eat a lot less. People are starting to ask if I'm pregnant too and I'm happy that I finally don't look just large. 😂

Ours was breech at 22 weeks and now is very much not, I can tell via the stabbing tina pains 😂🥴 hoping yours stays put!

Did anyone go on a babymoon or are any of you planning a babymoon? If so, where are you going (or where have you been?) and how far along will you be (or were you?)?

Baby is expected about 8 weeks before our wedding so Mr Rosey and I have canned our joint hen/stag do (which was honestly just going to be us two going out on the piss in Glasgow 🤣) and we’re wanting ideas on babymoons or things we can do before she arrives.

We went to Turkey when I was about 16 weeks along and then a weekend in Spain when I was 22 weeks. Highly recommend! Obviously it was summer so had a few more choices on where to go! But I would squeeze in as much as you can xx

Going to Menorca in 2 weeks, I’ll be 20 weeks pregnant. I can’t wait.

It was already booked and was meant to be a get-pissed-friends-holiday. Everyone is still going, I’ll just be on Lemonade and in bed by 9!

Went for a private nipt test today to hopefully rule out any possible problems 🤞hopefully the result comes back okay

Also found out today that baby is a boy.
I’m not as sad as I thought I would be and I’m not sad that he is a boy it’s just the missing out on girly things that makes me sad - as I don’t think we’d have anymore children after this one.
That and being outnumbered by stinky boys forever 😭

Went to Ireland a couple of weeks ago. Tbh I have been so sick all pregnancy that I was sick a lot and travel (even on a short flight) didn't agree with me. But it was nice to just get away for a couple of days.

Thanks all for your babymoon input. I’m hoping to see a last minute deal for some time off we have coming up in November. 🥰

Fingers crossed for you!!
I am also having another boy and feel exactly the same! It’s the missing out on girly things for me too but I think the bond between 2 boys will be so lovely 🩵.
