We have a “call a midwife” service which means any midwife from our hospital will answer and then you go to maternity department triage rather than A&E. not sure how it would work with you but definitely don’t sit in A&E for hours. They’d rather you and baby are fine than not, so don’t worry about wasting anyone’s time!Thank you, did you just take yourself straight to A&E or go through out of hours/111 first? Suppose it might be different with each trust! I don’t want to waste anyone’s time if I don’t actually need to be there.
Thankyou!CongratulationsI hope you're all doing well.
Most people go to A&E, however it’s worth calling your maternity unit and seeing they see you, at my trust we don’t see anyone under 16 weeks, but will see hyperemisis/pregnancy sickness xThank you, did you just take yourself straight to A&E or go through out of hours/111 first? I think i went to my EPU when i was like that ended up in there twice with my first pregnancy and was told i had hyperemesis, was prescribed by the hospital the good stuff - ondansetron!! This pregnancy has been a struggle ive been violently sick but not as bad as the first one and only been prescribed cyclizine, they wont give me ondansetron despite repeatedly asking for this in my doctors and my midwife putting it in my notes that i should be out on it.When do you know it’s time to see about going to hospital with sickness? I’m 7 weeks and I’ve been sick 5-10 times every day this week and I’m the last 36 hours or so I’ve not managed to keep anything down including water. My heart rate feels a little high and I’m definitely peeing less.
I had a gut feeling each time and had 3 boys, gut feeling again that it’s another boy but I think that’s just my brain trying to protect my from disappointmentanyone else’s gut feeling about their babies gender correct?
I’m sure with my first I thought he was a boy from fairly early and was correct. I did have boy feelings at first this time but more recently over the last few weeks been feeling more toward girl. Maybe wishful thinking since we already have a boy.
I was told at my fetal medicine scan on Wednesday that I have a left lateral placenta some theory says girls on the left and boys on the right - but not always the case
it really is just one of those things that’s 50/50 isn’t it?
I’m still waiting on test results so I don’t know why I’m letting myself get attached here 🥲
My gut feeling was right, I think sometimes you just know. I even had some dreams I was having a girl!anyone else’s gut feeling about their babies gender correct?

I always pictured myself with a boy first whenever I imagined having kids. However I genuinely didn’t have a gut feeling when I fell pregnant and wouldn’t have been surprised either way. It’s my first pregnancy and it’s a boyanyone else’s gut feeling about their babies gender correct?

I knew I was pregnant that month and I had a gut feeling I was having a girl! It’s so weird, I do think your subconscious plays more of a part than we realiseMy gut feeling was right, I think sometimes you just know. I even had some dreams I was having a girl!
I had a weird premonition the night before I found out and felt really emotional the day or so before because my partner was working away and I knew I’d be testing and wanted him there cos I knew I’d have something to tell him. I was having fertility problems and my cycles were really odd and off balance so it was very unlikely I actually was pregnant. But my body knew!I knew I was pregnant that month and I had a gut feeling I was having a girl! It’s so weird, I do think your subconscious plays more of a part than we realise
I haven’t been that much more hungry but I can feel that because baby has moved down to become engaged, there’s more space in my tummy and I’ve had far less heartburn and reflux. Maybe baby has just created more room for youAnyone at 37/38 week mark absolutely starving 24/7? My appetite has been pretty much normal throughout but since last week I’m absolutely starving constantly! I keep going shakey and clammy and just craving sugar constantly! Anyone else had this? I’m hoping it’s a sign labour is near as I’m so tired of being pregnant now
First time round I had a gut feeling she was a girl, despite up til that point always believing I’d have a boy first, then with TF the pregnancy was sooooooooo different I thought oh? Got to be a boy in there then… I was wrong. My mum believes she has an extremely good sixth sense but was wrong every time, 4 timesanyone else’s gut feeling about their babies gender correct?

I'm in a similar situation. My partner is convinced we're having a boy but I don't know at all. Whenever I picture myself with a baby I see a girl, but whenever I picture myself further in the future I see myself with a male toddler. Before the first scan I kept dreaming it was twins but it isn't so my subconscious is clearly rubbish at thisI had no gut instinct whatsoever but my partner was convinced it was a girl from the moment we got the positive test. He was right, and didn’t once consider it could be a boy. Just kept saying he knew
