Covid aside

I've never got the fascination with Thailand, Vietnam and the far east in general. It just seems a typical gap year Uni area.

I did a bit of NZ years ago but no intention of going back. Also never fancied Oz either (only was in the airports)

Barcelona - Heard so many mixed reviews about this place it seems it's just better visiting other parts of Spain

South east Asia for me too.. just no interest what so ever. I could probably give Australia a miss too.

Also, places like the Seychelles, Maldives, tiny island places... and generally beach resorts to be fair, where there’s nothing to do. I go on holiday to see and experience the place I’m in, not to sit on the beach

Basically anywhere that British people go to in swathes like Benidorm. I've no interest in eating British food sitting in a British pub surrounded by British people whilst abroad. 😂

Also anywhere that's considered a party town full of stags and hens. I can't be doing with dodging inflatable knobs just trying to get to the chemist. 🤣

New zealand, middle east, also can't get excited about the idyllic white sand and palm tree type holidays like maldives, mauritious, caribbean.

Dubai, Australia, Maldives, New Zealand, South Africa, as said above anywhere brits abroad flock to 🤢
I can confirm Barcelona is a waste of time!
Went to Thailand a few years ago and absolutely loved it. Vietnam and Cambodia is next on our list when covid allows.

Australia. Never understood the mass exodus of people going there after college. Also don't fancy really popular tourist destinations in Europe like Benidorm, Tenerife, Ibiza etc. I prefer places where you can easily experience a mix of things rather than just lounging by a pool all day every day being the main option

I thought Barcelona was nice but overrated. Don’t regret going but not somewhere I would want to visit again , a lot of people I know who have been think it’s great and want to visit again and again.

Las Vegas. The main strip seems tacky and over crowded!
I’ve also heard terrible things about LA. It’s apparently dirty with lots of homeless people around.

Any people go to take pictures for instagram. I can only imagine how boring those holidays were ..

Mykonos
Dubai
Miami
Santorini
Thailand
skiing holidays

Dubai
Australia
Maldives (mum and dad had their honeymoon here years ago and I always thought it sounded like heaven but then influencers took over)
Thailand

I’d never say never to them but really don’t feel any interest to go.

I done a year in Australia. It’s a lovely country it’s just the people that are the problem 🙊🤣

Wouldn't visit Italy or Belgium again as hated both when I visited previously so no chance I'm spending money going back there.

Dubai or anywhere else in the middle east.

I always thought Aussies were pretty chill. Do they really hate the poms? lol
Not all of them but I’d say the majority don’t like us. Think BNP supporters and the general ‘we hate foreigners they come here and steal or jobs’!
