It was more the exercise obsession I assumed she adopted. I’ve not follower her for long enough to know she had stints of not drinking.

She has spoken before about giving up drinking for stints.
I understand everyone has their own relationships with alcohol, but I feel if you need to announce to the world that you've not drunk alcohol in 2 months, then you probably have an alcohol problem/ are an alcoholic. I couldn't tell u the last time I drank alcohol nor do I know when I next will it just doesnt occupy my thoughts.
Polly has broken up with her husband, got a new bf and moved in in the space of 6 months. She's not said she's striving to be sober permanently, but I truly believe she would benefit from it and one of the first things those who become sober are advised is to m remain single. I don't understand why someone who married so young would jump into another relationship so quick, i refuse to believe and therapist would be supportive of this new relationship. Her personality/ interests seem to mirror whoever she's with (SW london suburbia settled down couple to bussey building hipster with the the duck ass bob)
I believe if her and the pilot break up, she'll be back on the booze, proclaiming a hot girl summer and once again reinvent herself as reclaiming her 20s.

My take is that the giving up drinking is a way to reduce calorie consumption. She looks unnaturally thin to me and as someone who used to have disordered eating I too would often ‘give up drinking‘ so I had a reason not to consume calories when I was out. I think it’s more about the calories than the alcohol itself.
Gosh, she looks like an old lady there.
I recall in the past, when someone asked about her exercise routine, she said something along the lines that she doesn't want to share about that. Whereas now as you note, her content is very exercise obsessed (and lovey-dovey of the "new man")
I think she looks like she’s had Botox and filler of late as she used to have more expression lines and they have gone.
