Omg in all my years of getting my hair done in hundreds of different salons, I’ve never once had to book a blow dry when I’m getting my colour done? It’s just a given, surely? Like she wasn’t going to walk out of the salon with wet hair?
No, there’s a lot of salons who do this. Blow dry is a separate service. They’ll typically have a blow dry bar with products and tools where you can finish the style. I do it but because I’m cheap

Thank you!!! I grew up in Dulwich and everyone would always talk about how much of a tit hole Peckham/ Brixton and how neighbouring places like Dulwich and Clapham were the places to be. The best nights out I had in the "dodgy" areas as you met people that didn't all go to public school, ethnic minorities and just generally normal people (the whole sheerluxe office screams Saltburn). Skip forward 10 years and none of me and my childhood friends recognise thess areas. The warehouse grime raves have disappeared and have been replaced with craft beer and wine night. The white people who couldn't afford Clapham, Dulwich etc have displaced those in Peckham and Brixton and made them homogenous

Both her maiden name (Bartlett) and Newman sound nice with Polly so was surprised she didn’t do it sooner but I guess she was probably worried about name recognition
