I’ve been thinking the same recently! I find her stories cringe, and the clique group she hangs with.
She used to be decent but has gone a bit arrogant.
In my opinion her fashion sense seems to have taken a dive

Someone on the GCC thread alerted me to this thread. I've been waiting for a Polly thread but never noticed it's been around!

I started following her when she was sub 20k and thought she was cute and cool, and different. She used to be quite lovely.
No idea what happened to her but she's insufferable now!

I also think she is obsessed with being thin. I don't think she has an ED, but she is definitely obsessed about appearing thin, going as far as calling her thighs "juicy". Oh please.

Now she's just another cookie cutter blonde and thin influencer who tries to be quirky or pretends to have a personality, however, the real Polly is just the mean girl we all know.

Whenever influencers share any links or gifts I avoid the link (even clicking it) and often the brand. There was a blazer I wanted from The Frankie Shop and an influencer was selling hers for close to retail on Vinted. Guessing it had been gifted or she’d been given a link and then sold it off for even more money. It’s cheeky AF. And then they share sob stories about how it’s ’their Job’. Yeah pissing around with clothes and make up and making videos making OTHER PEOPLE spend their hard earn cash to earn you money is a hard no from me.

I’ve actually unfollowed her now, I know insta is a highlights reel and we don’t know what bloopers go on behind closed doors (thanks “subtle art of not giving a fuck”) but it’s actually quite depressing seeing her in this seemingly perfect country pad with her rich pilot fiancé and her ethically sourced lab grown diamond

Try not to feel too bad. It’s in influencers’ interests to make you feel envy / not good enough so then you buy their crap (daisy London anyone?) and click on their affiliate links - they make money from appearing as aspirational as possible. She got divorced after making that marriage look perfect and she clearly isn’t as secure or as sorted as she likes to present given she rebounded instantly and is now copying her new boyf’s personality so take everything she posts with a big pinch of salt

She looks completely worn out from trying to keeping the new boyfriend and all hobbies. Running marathons one minute and cycling across the Himalayas the next. She looks tired and a bit withered and in need of a rest. How exhausting it must be to constantly feel like you need to impress him

Jeez she’s easily roused. That was such a nothingy comment. Wait until she has the baby then the floodgates will truly open. She’s such a knobhead and has gotten extremely unlikable lately

I think she has a very unhealthy obsession with body image/ thinness and she is frantically exercising in pregnancy as a way to control her fear of not being thin. Her constant exercising and that ridiculous post where she talked about being in a larger body when she flipping knew she was pregnant prove this.

I don't know if it's just me but I've seen more pics of her bf way than I ever saw of her ex husband, which is astonishing since she's been with less than a year and she's been married since before sheerluxe. The whole thing is so weird. Fine, don't tell us the ins and outs of your breakup but also, don't shove your new relationship in our faces (and ultimately get pissy again when you break up and people ask why you've shown him for ages)

Thank you!!! I grew up in Dulwich and everyone would always talk about how much of a shit hole Peckham/ Brixton and how neighbouring places like Dulwich and Clapham were the places to be. The best nights out I had in the "dodgy" areas as you met people that didn't all go to public school, ethnic minorities and just generally normal people (the whole sheerluxe office screams Saltburn). Skip forward 10 years and none of me and my childhood friends recognise thess areas. The warehouse grime raves have disappeared and have been replaced with craft beer and wine night. The white people who couldn't afford Clapham, Dulwich etc have displaced those in Peckham and Brixton and made them homogenous

I think someone said it upthread, but I too get the feeling she cheated. It’s all seemed so quick that it feels like she’s just relieved it’s all out in the open now.

I find the defensiveness interesting for someone who’s been so obvious about it. Did she really think people wouldn’t be curious?
