I sometimes like to visit a certain adult website that I won't mention here, but shows candid photos of female celebs and other z-listers back in the day doing semi-nude or fully nude photos, either "officially" or by intrusive press photographers.

using a savings calculator to figure out what I need to save for holidays and moving out (I only have a temp job atm)

reading about random obscure actors/actresses or people that used to be famous

reading about Unsolved Mysteries cases on SitcomsOnline forum

reading people's opinions on random film and TV characters on forums

going on Reddit and Netmums to read about bad stuff that's happened to people (when I'm feeling down about my own life) - it's quite therapeutic and I feel less alone

i also go on John Lewis, harvey Nicks et al and buy anything and everything i want and when my basket is around £10k i close the window down and go spend £50 somewhere else and not feel guilty about it

I search for most people I come across in real life on social media cos im so nosy.
Also ,when I find out where someone lives, I look up their house on rightmove sold prices to see how long they lived there and what it looked like inside. It is disappointing when they rent .

i spend a lot of time on Reddit, especially the Ask threads. I also like to walk down streets on Google Street View, especially big cities.

Lots of house related searching, I spend hours on rightmove looking. Sometimes it's local or places I know or used to live in, other times I just hear a place-name and have a search. Also, house prices....fascinated! Also love streetview and look up all sorts of places. Went to pick stuff up from a school mum the other day and had not only done a map of directions but had streetviewed her road and knew how much she paid for it in 2013.

On a similar vein I've often researched people online, not to do anything with the info, more just to know I can. People are scarily open! Case in point, I liked a picture someone had put up on Instagram which is near where my parents live and she had lots of pictures from round about there too so I followed her. Got nosey one day as she had put a picture up of the view from her front garden and I recognised it as the same road as my parents. Didn't take me long to work out exactly where she lived, where she used to live, all her family members names and where she worked. Just as well I don't have ulterior motives

It is very easy to find some people's addresses, or certainly the roads they live in, purely from the information they post online.

I have loads, I'm a terrible procrastinator.

Looking at RightMove for homes I can't afford.
Looking at holiday cottage companies for holiday cottages I will never be able to afford - unique homestays is lovely!
YouTube for clips of old TV shows
Google StreetView because I'm nosy
Jigsaw puzzles when I'm bored and can't be bothered to do anything else
Browsing my local library's ebooks
Etsy can be a rabbit hole, as can Pinterest
Reading bad reviews on TripAdvisor/Goodreads/Trustpilot

I love Pintrest, but my God, you can't just look for one thing on there, you get sent everywhere and beyond!

I read plots to movies all the time. If someone mentions a film I’ve not seen I’ll go and google the plot especially if it’s been out for a while and I don’t understand the references people are making.
I can waste hours on reddit: UK specific subs, food subs, general question subs, anything about my favourite tv shows.
Sometimes I’ll do on the DM and read the comments under inflammatory news stories (you know the sort!) just to see people get all blustering and angry about the stupidest things. Although lately it’s just gotten depressing that that’s how they think and feel so I’ve not done it as much.

I spend far too much time playing armchair detective for missing persons cases ... I'll see an article (usually in Daily Mail) about someone and off I go ... ditto in the case of conspiracies.

And, like a lot here, dreaming about which house I'd buy if I won the lottery. Except in all honesty I probably wouldn't move!

I do this after I watch a new film or TV show I liked. IMDb used to make great reading on the background, the making of and the errors made but ever since they got rid of the message boards, which was my main reason for visiting, I hardly go on the site anymore.
