I’ve literally never listened to a podcast in my life, but I’m feeling the urge to. Any recommendations? Can be about anything. I have fairly broad interests. I would probably not want to listen to youtuber podcasts unless they were, like, mainstream good, if that makes sense.
They are youtube podcasters but I like joe rogan
true Geordie and xo podcasts

Shagged married annoyed.
Love it, I’m still new it, I listen when I’m out walking and I’m laughing to myself, the looks I get.
Also like this is spinal crap which is about life with a spinal injury (husband is paralysed so very relatable!)

I highly recommend '' Mile Higher'' ( They also have YouTube videos ) .
This is the only podcast I'm listening, not a big podcast fan.
It's about conspiracy theories, mysterious events that happened in the past etc. Each episode is about 1h long, but they also talk about lots of other interesting topics in each episode. There is like this main topic plus at the beginning they talk about other stuff, but you can skip it easily.
Some of my faves were Rockefeller & Rothschild families, Princess Diana death conspiracy, MH370 flight disappearance , Scientology conspiracy ( I did more research after listening to this and will never ever watch any Tom Cruise movies, he is a sick person and should be in prison ).
I’ve started listening to the Titanic one but the guy keeps saying “supposebly” and it’s doing my head in ? How do you become a grown ass man and still say supposebly.

I love True Crime podcasts. My faves are:
- Serial
- Dirty John
- The Teachers Pet
- Broken Harts
- Someone Knows Something
I really recommend the Jeffrey Epstein podcast I mentioned called ‘broken’ if you like that sort of true crime. It’s totally horrifying but not at all exploitative of the victims pain like some podcasts. Its style is actually quite similar to serial s1 and dirty John which I loved too. Only 4 episodes have come out so far so it’s each feels quite hot off the press which is exciting.

Love love love Joan and Jericha. Julia Davis is my absolute idol 🥰

If you’re an Alan Partridge fan then the fan run Monkey Tennis is a good listen.

Two Shot Podcast is another good one. Actor Craig Parkinson (Misfits, Lind of Duty etc) hosts. Chats to others actors. Really great.

Bunk Bed. Weird and funny conversations with Patrick Marber and Peter Curran and different guest each week.

If you’re a fan of Line of Duty then the fan run Shrine of Duty is a great listen!

The Chernobyl podcast that accompanied the tv show was also great.

I listen to probably too many podcasts so sorry if this list is a bit long. You'll also see there is a bit of a theme with the paranormal...

Astonishing Legends - (USA) Covers paranormal, myths, aliens, that sort of thing.

Dear Joan and Jericha -(UK) Really weird agony aunts with terrible advice (satire)

Knock Once for Yes - (UK) Paranormal based, they visit historical places and tell the ghost stories of the place.

The Last Podcast on the Left - (USA) True Crime, Paranormal - but funny

Lets Not Meet - (USA) Real stories of really creepy things happening to people.

Off Menu - (UK) Two comedians talk to a guest about their dream meal

Page 7 - (USA) Pop culture and celebrity gossip

Drag Race Recap - (USA) Re capping the show Ru Pauls Drag Race - Currently covering the UK version of the show.

The Adam Buxton Podcast - (UK) Adam Buxton interviews people

The Parapod - (UK) Two comedians discuss the paranormal, one believes, one doesn't.

The Rewatchables - (USA) Panel of journalists talk about their favorite films that they like to re watch.

My new favourite podcast is called “broken: Jeffrey Epstein.” It’s a weekly deep dive into everything about Epstein and how he operated, got away with so much, his creepy manipulative methods, Ghislaine Maxwell etc It’s really well made, with high journalistic standards, is sensitive and not gratuitous and utterly batshit crazy. Of course it’s upsetting but also totally fascinating to hear the details of his backstory and how he operated. It’s style reminds me of This American Life and it’s spin off Serial, both of which I love. Can’t recommend enough.

I love podcasts!

fake heiress is really good and it’s in production with Netflix to be a series I believe. It’s a true story!

my dad wrote a porno, I’d never listened but in lockdown I binged all 5 series 😂
Table manners with Jessie Ware
Luanna - not to everyone’s taste but I enjoy it.
Off menu
And Louis Theroux is good I’ve only just started it

Monkey Tennis did my head in. It was like they didn’t get any of the jokes at all. They’d spend 10 minutes debating something basic from an episode when it was abundantly clear that Steve Coogan was using whatever it was to make a satirical point in the show. I still listened to the lot of them though 🤔
fair enough. I haven’t listened to all of them just a few and found them easy to listen to.

I used to like Real Crime Profile but got sick to death of hearing Laura Richards big herself up all the time
Omg exactly the same! I thought it was just me! Also got a bit tired of whatshisface and people they reference as quality sources of information using their status as working on TV shows to legitimise their status as experts or whatever... Like, I'd much rather hear about your experience in the field or training from the agencies you used to work for, damn.

Sadly unsubscribed at least a year ago tbh

My favourite has to be no such thing as a fish. Discovered it in May and have listened to them all now. Found it helped me when I was having an anxiety attack. Took my mind off it and made me laugh

I really like listening to GaryVee. Although I don't run a business myself, I find it so motivating for when I know I have a rubbish day ahead at work.

I also like "Gals on the Go", "Paychecks & Balances" and "Stuff Mom Never Told You".
Ooh, sounds good- I'll look into those!

Some of my favorites are:

My Dad Wrote a Porno - 3 friends read the hilariously bad '50 shades' style books written by on of their Dads and comment on the ridiculousness of it. Leaves me crying with laughter.

Off Menu - Comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster have a different guest in their 'Dream Restaurant' each week, talking us through their favorite meal (starter, main, side, dessert and drink).

Comments by Celebs - The girls behind the Instagram account of the same name sit down each week to discuss goings-on in the world of celebrities. They also do a Kardashian bonus show weekly, and 'emergency' episodes when something big happens.

All Things Cozy - Two friends sit down fortnightly to discuss a different cozy topic - very relaxing to listen to at bedtime.

Awards Chatter - An interviewer from the Hollywood Reporter sits down with an actor/actress (usually a big name) for an in-depth chat about their life and work.

Getting Curious with Jonathan van Ness - JVN from Queer Eye talks with a guest expert about different topics he is curious about.
