Good share. Well written Niamh Walsh, whoever you are. She's certainly not being paid off or sucked into the 'fluencer scene. I in no ways would want to see someone not doing well, esp the year that's in it, but this is an honest article (I'll be reading evoke.ie more!) and exposes Pippa for being either very greedy or having done very poor research on pricing and launching products in a saturated market.

I remember reading a bit abouy that on Galz Who Snap ages ago, something like Chloe had unfollowed Pippa and was putting up passive aggressive posts etc. Obviously no idea what was behind it all but I do remember thinking she was biting the hand that feeds her really. At the end of the day there's only 1 reason that girl has any kind of social media following... and it's certainly not because of who her Da is.

Look if these people want to be in the public eye and make their money from their followers then they have a responsibility to do the right thing and set an example. Not galavanting all over the country making their contract tracing if they got the virus impossible, or staying in restaurants hours on end etc. And broadcasting it to thousands of people who will think it's grand because their favourite influencer is doing it.

There's only one thing worse than Covid -19, and that's the sanctimonious stance people loved to take on Covid -19 the increase in epedimiology experts is really quite something

Oooo that's interesting. Since Laura Cunningham got pregnant, she totally devoted her content to pregnacy related material, it was like confetti and weddings were put on the back burner. Also, I spotted that Aimee who worked closely with her now has ''previously staff editor at confetti'' in her insta bio andtheir digital member Aoife has on LinkedIn that she is now a freelance journalist. So wonder what's happening there.....

I liked Laura when I started following her, but then she got a bit much, I think she thinks she is the be all and end all. The first person to ever get pregant. Comes across quite arrogant at times.

I just can’t see ‘Pippa’ in this collection. The jeans I understood, I have a pair and they are great, although I had to go up a size as they run small imo, and her size inclusiveness leaves a lot to be desired. Her candles were aesthetically appealing and you always see them dotted round her house (although way overpriced!) Even the pastel coloured T-shirt’s (again overpriced) I could see her in. But this? Shiny bombers? Tacky looking runners? Graphic jumpers with POCO on them? No thanks!
And again, the price point? Is she away with the fairies? The leather jacket and the houndstooth coat are nice, but honestly, who is going to pay for them?
And thanks to the people who pointed out that she only comes on chatting away so she can bombard us with sales thereafter. Can’t believe I didn’t notice before.

I hate the way she suddenly decides to grace us all with her presence the minute she has new products to flog, after weeks of radio silence.

A quick briefing to say ‘Buy my stuff, peasants’ before bogging off again. She doesn’t even bother pretending she gives a sh*t about anything except her profit margins anymore.

I actually find myself squirming watching her talk on stories now. She just tries too hard to be sound and funny and cool but also to be ordinary and humble when shes really not. And now that prick of a husband flat out posting poco stuff, money signs flashing before him.
