I see it's him and Holly on today's This Morning. Is this not normally their Easter holidays?

I feel the same way. Just can't understand why they're still doing the happy family thing. She may still love him but as a friend surely. Think I would rather be on my own than carry on with the charade.
She is an idiot, maybe she will divorce when she gets her head around it all, it may take a long time to fully sink in, what must she think of everyone in showbiz saying they all knew? That’s got to hurt, it’s almost like PS told some folks openly except the people that matter.

The sooner they remove P & H from TM the better.
When will that ever happen?! Presenting looks easy as hell so why such a massive yearly wage?

Why would he be wearing a fake short wig
I bet that’s his own hair after Steph cut it🤣
And the boyfriend does look like a prince in the scruffy un ironed shirt
which prince am thinking of🤔

is the boyfriend living with them
I wonder or is he breaking lock down rules and not social distancing

Good point. Quite a few things like it have been on recently with the disclaimer “this was filmed before the Coronavirus social distance measures”. They could do the same with his show if they wanted to.
Possibly because advertisers and sponsors, who would likely be travel-related, aren’t interested in stumping up for media at this time.

Nonsense story on the net today saying he’s been offered 1.5m to write his autobiography. After costs, autobiogs make £1 to £2 a copy for the author. There’s no way any publisher expects a UK only tv presenter to shift a million books these days - Mel Bs one two xmases ago dropped out the top 50 after a fortnight after selling 60k copies - which was considered a reasonable success. Back in the days when we all got the latest celeb book for a crappy mother’s day gift maybe it would have sold - but not in 2020 it won’t

They wouldn’t necessarily be very strong sexual feelings, but strong romantic/emotional feelings, maybe strong enough to make him believe he could make a go of a heterosexual marriage. Really not uncommon back then, especially if you were a public figure whose career would probably be ruined if you came out as gay. Even more so if you work in children’s TV.

And don’t forget Maggie’s horrendous homophobic Section 28 was in force from 1988 up until 2003, which forbade the sympathetic mention of homosexuality in school sex ed teaching and said that basically homosexual relationships weren’t legitimate. Really nasty stuff. Unless you were very confident and already out of the closet, what with that and HIV/AIDS it wasn’t the easiest time for gay men in particular..
True and I don’t think PS always knew he was gay plus he still with Steph and their daughters are 24 and 21/22 and so he can no longer just be with her for the kids or career.

What we do know is that PS met MM when he was a child and attended The 2 faced theatre company, set up by Simon Schofield, of which PS was a patron. PS friended him on twitter (mid teens) and then a few years later he was working at TM (involved with TM from aged 18).

We also know that whatever went down, it all ended in tears because heaven and earth had to be moved to stop MM telling his story.

That's what we DO know.

(Also I don't buy the idea that wronged people / victims that accept a financial settlement 'come off the worst' - these things are never as easy as 'they took the money and ran'. There will be plenty of bullying and trauma and gaslighting and enablers along the way. Just need to use our imagination about what people in powerful positions and their apologists are capable of.)
I don't disagree with what's said here, however on one of the bygone threads someone mentioned they were friends with a lawyer and they were adamant there was no injunction in place. They said IIRC, that there had been a fling and MM had become too clingy (think they used the word stalker) and things slowly unravelled. To me that narrative fits better than any other. Simon Schofield seems to be friends with both MM and PS, I just can't imagine he would maintain a friendship with PS if MM had been treated as badly as its being made out. Obviously there's an element of unethical behaviour due to the age gap and potential for MM to be overly enamoured by PS but equally we don't know anything about MM to suggest he's an innocent victim in all of this.

I don’t think it’s fair to expose her to the sordid details of her fathers sex life poor girl! She is still there representing Rochelle etc

Ahh ok this makes sense! I didnt realise she represented Rochelle (for some reason I thought she only represented him)

I for one never said there was an injunction about him being a paedophile. But there is definitely an injunction in place or the press would have been all over the back story. if you want pure facts over opinion im afraid tattle life is the wrong forum to use for that.
You've contradicted your earlier point though. You said that people were being forced to work with him as there was no legal reason to refuse.

If you don't believe there is an injunction about him being a paedophile (quite rightly too) then why else would people not want to work with him based on an injunction? I don't get it.

Apologies to Jennifer Juniper. It was Angry Bird, positing Phil as. "Helpful" .
Not that it's a horrible thing to anyway. I didn't see your weirdo post, although people's have said much the same about him on here for ages.? I've just read your comment above.
There just seemed to be so many posts lately with this idealised theory of Phil marrying by almost accident. When it seems to me most likely more cynical than that. I'm going by his subsequent behaviour.
Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own take on it, as it would be boring if everyone concurred.
I definitely don’t think he married bu accident, it was definitely to further his career and I do believe he loved Steph, in all honesty I just don’t want PS to be this creep that I truly suspect him to be, I know that sounds mad as he is a TV presenter and not someone I know but I just wish it wasn’t so because if PS is a creep then who do we trust really, iyswim.

I switched on This Morning and saw the bit where they were showing an old clip of Holly being victim of an April Fool's trick.
I switched off again.

Sorry, I'm just not up to the job of watching it any more.

I watched last night's Bake Off with Alison Hammond instead.
