Did anyone see Joel Dommett on All Round to Mrs. Brown’s the other night? Joel has the name Ant tattooed on the back of his left ankle and Dec on his right. He then said “I also have Stephen Mulhern across my bum” and Mrs. Brown said “well you wouldn’t be the only one” and all the celebs laughed a little awkwardly to it.

I mean. Doesn’t take much to see how camp Stephen is. But he’s married too and I’ve been told he sleeps with more men than he does women so

It seems Matt has a few famous faces who follow and comment on his insta.

It looks like he also took a months break from social media when all hell broke lose after Schofe came out and he had almost 500 people like his post that said “Smile & Be Kind” and people welcoming him back and showing messages of support. Including from Coleen Nolan.

Looking further into his social media it looks like the last time he was with Schofe in a post was in October, in an attic room of a house (I can only assume they’d be filming how to spend it well?) Schofe had given him dog crisps but told him they were plain crisps, Schofe wasn’t in shot but you can hear him. And you can hear Matt wretching in disgust.

A few more female faces at ITV comment and like his content though so I wonder who really knows. If cameramen and crew knew they were together, how much did he confide in his closer friends and famous faces? My theory is that he got on well with the Loose Women ladies and they were a Mum type figure to him (my guess is his main support comes from Ruth). He’d have likely done whats called ‘dailies’ on the show whilst working at this morning as its common for runners to hop between shows to keep their work flowing and network. But between Oct 19 & Dec 19 something must have gone wrong.

I note that the ITV Xmas party was Dec 6th according to a post on Matt’s insta. And that same week the press reported on the allegations of bullying. Coincidence? Who knows. But when you match up dates from his social media and events that have happened that we know about from press reporting etc it kinda all fits into place somehow. I just need more info to connect those dots to confirm that it slots into place rather than making the boot fit myself.

Meanwhile it looks like he’s stuck out in California due to the lockdown either side of the pond. So I wonder if he has a job with Loose Women to come back to when he’s home. Has he been furloughed? Did he even have a contract? Or was he a casual freelancer like most junior staff in television.

Regarding the "starsuckers" docu mentioned above, I've just gone to youtube to watch it on my telly.

Yes that's it from what I remember, they talk a bit about the lure of fame and all that side of things too.. I did watch it a fair few years ago. The Max Clifford stuff stuck with me though. Then they talk all about hackgate and the general corruptness of the media and PR world..

The people that made the doc were jailed for tax stuff, which I found a bit convenient /suspicious but hey ho.

Thanks for the explanation I (wrongly) assumed it was somewhat of an umbrella term for a marriage that’s basically an arrangement for what ever reason (gay, wanting to portray a certain ‘family man’ image etc).

My opinion at the moment is that Steph knew and it was an arrangement from the start. Maybe she wanted the nice life and kids but wasn’t fussed about having a ‘real’ husband. Could be wrong of course because non of us really know for sure when it comes to their marriage. Just the fact that back then people knew he was gay makes me think she can’t have possibly not known but like you say she could have thought he would ‘change’ or maybe he really did make her think he wasn’t - we all know how good at manipulation he is.

Regardless, I think there’s a lot of when it comes to their marriage maybe it’ll all come out one day maybe it won’t.

I saw on another thread, or maybe on mumsnet, someone said she has had her own relationship for 9 years but I didn't know whether to repeat that cos you don't know what is misinformation and what isn't. But yes, we have no idea what went on in their marriage, who knew what, what was agreed on etc. But I would guess that she didn't know the full extent of certain things until the sh*t hit the fan.

Holy Mary, that is a look that only a mother could love. I pity him, but do feel so sad for his daughters. Imagine the horror having a Dad turn up at a gathering with your friends looking like that at nearly 60. He is totally lost, and has no idea where to go with this whole thing. I think there is a thread somewhere but in the early phillip threads shes mentioned loads n yes was/is a massive cokehead. Go look at the black and white photo she put up when caroline flack died, shes def off her head. I used to take loads of drugs for years, shes most def loved it (tbh a lot of people in showbiz seem to be in to it n it doesnt surprise. I could stay awake for days and still have a regular job n no one ever guessed)
