I stopped listening to SR at Christmas after Sam bragged about how he played a ‘hilarious’ joke on Zara of pissing on her. Which is assault. I’m glad she left him and traded up to Louis.
I can understand him wanting to do things separately from Sam so he has his own thing. But just seems odd to me he would do a podcast with a random company when he’s a co owner of a production company who are about to start running other podcasts
I've noticed what others have said about him appearing more arrogant.
I always thought he was quite misunderstood and was a sensitive, kind person under all of the bravado but the way he's come across on the podcast lately makes him come across as quite rude and unpleasant.
Has anyone listened to today's podcast? Pete and Sam received a message from two single girls keen to go on a double date. Same rang one of them on air and he and Pete chatted with her about going on the date and getting a date in the diary. She was really surprised and excited and then when the call ended Pete immediately said he wasn't going to go. Even though it was Sam that called, Pete definitely encouraged her on the call and him then saying he wasn't going to go came across quite badly imo.

I saw the podcast with Sam and Pete last week and Pete seems so uncomfortable like he's trying so hard to stay as this character and it comes across fake. It doesnt flow naturally between him and Sam. It seems too scripted to me and just not funny just trying hard to be funny with sexual references.

His beard is too manicured now. Like it's been tattooed on/ filled in with a background colour. It's too uniform around the cheek edges and it's just not necessary. They can date whoever they want but Pete and Sam are the real love story. They are such a beautiful example of a supportive friendship. Pete can be all deadpan and call him names but it’s clear that he adores him.

Oh I watched it so many times and cried- there were so many gentle moments from the kiss on the neck to the holding up of the ball in the backpack (can’t bring myself to write bag bag

I cry every time I watch it. They are each others biggest cheerleaders and it melts my heart 
I love the pair of them. I’ve so warmed to Sam, he used to irritate me on MIC but he’s so sweet. Always loved Pete, the old softy.

So many people are desperate to find romantic love but these guys show that platonic love can be just as good.
I’m not sure if the 900k figure includes the anon donor but the donor will match up to 500k. So ctually I don’t think the 900 figure includes the matching. 900 + 500 + another matching donation but unsure of the amount limit if there is one.
The pod is dripping with ads again. Love Pete but he can’t even fake enthusiasm in the meerkat ad. Lots of comments on Spotify complaining and the content of the pod is so dull as well.
I haven’t listened in weeks, dunno why either, just gone off it a bit, and I definitely won’t be listening to today’s. I have no desire whatsoever to listen to Louise Thompson, she’s an a lol
