I'm absolutely experiencing this. It's like my libido has packed it's bags and tucked right off. I'm so sad about it, but I just don't know how to fix it.

Not sure if it’s been brought up before, but hair thinning, does anyone have any tips to reduce it?

No, I'm waiting for a follow up with my GP about it. Although all my bloods from my recent tests came back as normal.
Bloods aren’t reliable because of fluctuations in hormones. The GP can prescribe based on your symptoms. Check out the NICE guidelines

The amount of money wasted on sending us all for blood tests could pay for so much HRT!!

I'm pretty sure current NICE guidelines say blood results aren't the decider in prescribing HRT. I'd do some googling and take it with you.

Thanks, all.

My appointment is next week. I've been tracking my symptoms and working on my script! I'm going to try Newsom if I don't get anywhere. Will use some savings i have put aside for holidays.

I get bloody married this year as well, at the minute it's more like we are bloody housemates than betrothed. ducks sake.

I met my partner later in life after years of unhappiness and two back to bad awful relationships. Finally get my happiness and it's like my tina has closed for business.

Sorry for the bluntness!

I’m 5.5 weeks without. I’m a bit thinner, less appetite and no hot flushes or night sweats. I wonder if I had a temporary malfunction in hormones which resolved? I definitely feel like the oestrogen was too high for me after a while.
I need to improve my fitness. I think it’s great you’re weight training. My muscle has declined over the last 5 months due to life change and activity level and I need to fix it. I’ve also noticed a huge difference in mobility on my left hip vs right. Right is fairly normal but the left is very different.
Anyone else had loss of flexibility?
Thanks!

I’ve not had any sweats either and I feel quite calm at the moment whereas before I could rip someone’s head off with the rage I had.

My flexibility is definitely off a bit, and funny you should say but my right hip I say hip but I think it’s actually around my groin is giving me issues. When I rotate my leg there is a clicking/grinding in the joint/groin or when I’m sat for a period of time and get up my leg goes from under me so god knows what that is?!

If you have instagram there is a really great Dr who I follow who is very knowledgeable about mobility and bone health in females so could be worth a follow for you. Drvondawright

You might need testosterone but that’s a fight to get on the NHS, so you may indeed need to try Newson.

You might need topical oestrogen for your vag too x

I’m not tolerating progesterone (patch or pill) so I wonder what my options are. I don’t want the coil. What do women do when they can’t take progesterone? It makes me feel awful

The progesterone mini pill made me feel off a while ago so I came off it. I can’t take oestrogen because of cluster headaches. Is there anything else?

I have no idea. My mood/digestive system is absolutely off the scale atm.

What symptoms do you have? I hate progesterone. I took the contraceptive pill for a couple of years on two separate occasions and, Jesus Christ, I suffered from the most horrific and debilitating constipation. Sounds mad but it was definitely the progesterone.

I love Dr vonda, an actual surgeon who sees the state of women’s bones in later life. She doesn’t talk pseudo science but she talks sense. She’s also an older woman on HRT and talks about all the things she uses and does to help.

She really is amazing and talks such a lot on sense. I send my daughter (20’s) vids all the time telling her to get on the weights.

I've developed a dodgy left hip/thigh.

It's all right when they say do more exercise, but a bit difficult when certain body parts can't really tolerate it.

I find the hip also gets much worse when I'm on my period.
