I do but I wouldn’t wear undies to bed. That’ll make it even more sweatyAnyone else have the most intense night sweats in the crutch area only? I wake up with completely soaked undies. Of all the areas to sweat!

I'm the same. I did slimming world for years and kept a steady weight and over the last year it's crept up and and up.Is anyone struggling to lose weight? I’ve put a stone on since October, I’m trying really hard to lose weight, going walking 3/4 times a week, doing weights 2/3 times a week in the house, really trying to cut back and have even cut down on my wine, it’s really getting me down
I have also had similar - where i go through the motions and then no bleed. Not ridiculous at all - I think even a very scant period counts as a period. Your body is still going through the motions trying to produce one.
I remember also a wierd phase where I had all the symptoms - PMT, cramps etc but no bleeding. Very strange.
I was actually going to ask this!Hurrah, I have found my people.
Is anyone else's brain absent presumed missing since this started?!
Yes, I can be mid sentence and forget what I’m talking about. It’s embarrassing.Hurrah, I have found my people.

I’ve not taken HRT either. The one thing I don’t have, that many others do, is mood swings. Obviously I get moody now and again but that’s just day to day life and I don’t think it’s Peri related. My brain is working much better than it was 12 months ago. I couldn't remember words verbally and very simple spelling was horrendous
I've still not tried HRT, every time I get close, a particular worrying symptom will improve![]()

I’m on the home straight now - approx 6 weeks to go and I’m a year clear. I don’t know what I’m expecting tbh. Other than the absence of periods, I’m still getting the headaches and itchiness and brain fog. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if at the year mark that all went too?![]()
I hate to sound preachy but giving up alcohol (probably just as I entered perimenopause at 39) was the best thing I’ve done for my all round health. I’d highly recommend giving it a try, start with This Naked Mind by Annie Grace book/podcast/online courses. Is anyone struggling to lose weight? Same with my mum, and seeing as she didn't have me until her 40s things were a bit titMy mums mental health nose dived in her 40s which now looking back was probably the start of her peri but it just wasn’t talked about.
Yes! The first time it happened I thought I’d wet myself. It’s grim isn’t it.Anyone else have the most intense night sweats in the crutch area only? I wake up with completely soaked undies. Of all the areas to sweat!
It's terrible! I now have a waterproof mattress protector on my bed. I roll onto a dry patch and attempt to get back to sleep . It's so crazy.Yes! The first time it happened I thought I’d wet myself. It’s grim isn’t it.
I can only use the plain Dove shower gel but have found taking collagen has definitely helped with the itchingHi ladies!
How are we all looking after our skin? Mine is drier than the Sahara desert and is really starting to get me down. Huge thanks![]()
