Thank you. I don’t want a bloody hysteroscopy either!
I can totally sympathise on the adhd menopause thing, it makes it so much more fizzy fuzzy walk in the room what did I come in here for-y.
which medication are you on?
Elvanse, I have 20 and 40mg so I can take up to 60mg when I need it. Then dex for top ups. Hopefully with things settling down I can cycle it properly and get it working. I saw a seminar on it last year and it makes so much sense. Maybe then i can shift this weight that's sprung up on me. Even considering orlistat (or whatever its called)

What' meds are you on?

Just had a look and there was one for sale a few years ago just under $9000
Looks like they've crowdsourced loads of money and now pushing it forward after some trials. Will be interested to see how it goes

Just checking the Amazon Black Friday deals, they have some good offers on some of my supplements - the Menopace is half price.

Ladies, apart from itchy ears and the usual random irritability, I've had my proper first perimenopause symptom. A period that came after only 19 days and lasted 5 days! I was an entire WEEK early.

This might not sound mad to those who suffer from awful periods (😭 😔) but I thankfully don't (I'm so grateful). This is normal and actually wild (I thought I peed myself). Just FYI if anyone's periods have gone haywire. I've been tracking too.

I haven't had a period since mid September (and no, I'm not pregnant.) I had a HUGE one at the end of August that lasted into the first few days of September and then 2 weeks later I had a light one that lasted a few days. And so far nothing since.

So how do we plan for this early/random mofo? I wasn't prepared for this week early period 👊🏼🖕🏼

I've also remembered another wierd symptom. Mildish period pains and cramps at the time when I should've had a period so I thought one was coming, but then nothing. It's like my body was still going through the motions but producing nothing. Lasted for a few months.

I had this also. 25 days instead of 29-30. That can sod off. It's bad enough every 29 without it showing up sooner 😳

Has anyone else had chest/heart flutters? Happened a few weeks ago quite often and wasn't sure if peri or due to something I was anxious about.

You just sort of get used to it as time goes on. I went from very regular to every 2 weeks or there abouts but, very light last June to September. Since then it's only happened in Nov 24, March 25, Sept 25. And, then this week. Which was a surprise, I expected another longer break. Unfortunately, it just becomes expected that it's random. Do not leave home without being prepared.

Sorry, I tried to add your quote to my reply but failed. But, this erratic pattern happens I'm afraid. And, you just learn it's your new normal.

I had that in September , only the cheeky b did it when I was on holiday. Thankfully I had stuff with me as mine haven’t been the most regular of late. My most recent cycles have been 35 days, 17 days (holiday), 42 days, 27 days, 25 days, 19 days, 27 days, 52 days.
I track mine in an app and the symptoms (when I remember) so I was able to have a chat with my GP with my list.

I’m 6 weeks with nothing now. Probably get two now next month🤣. This happens all the time. I’ve had the cramps and swelling and all the PMT for most of this time. I have clothes I basically don’t wear any more as they are light coloured amd I’m afraid of bleeding 🤣. Last night for a work thing I wore my fab light grey denims but wore a sanitary towel just in case. Last year on hols I went through a whole pack out and about “ just in case “. It really is just the new normal and im nearly two years into this b behaviour 🙄🤣

Sorry to be depressing ! 🤣 The whole thing just sucks ! The only positive is that it’s finite.
most of my friends are on some form of contraceptive to control it but it’s just not for me. I’m also putting off the HRT as long as I can but I’ve talked to my Doc and shes brill so I’m building up to maybe starting in the new year now.

Oh and just to add. If anyone is worried about the bleeding out of no where esp in light clothes I’m thinking the period underwear are the way forward. I’m gonna research some because I looked before and got overwhelmed 🤣

Period pants are a lifesaver!! Pads were irritating me so I moved on to m&s period pants and they’ve been fab! I’ve just bought a pair of Boody’s in their sale to see what they’re like too so 🤞🏻

Yeah I love them, got them from Amazon. They're just not great for under tight trousers (VPL 🤣)

Yes! Yes! Yes! Thanks for mentioning because I thought I was going mad/having a heart attack. I thankfully have never suffered with anxiety, but these past few weeks I've been having palpitations/flutters and feeling really anxious like I'm worried about something or sitting an exam, when I'm absolutely not. It's driving me mad. I just feel so worried all the time.

I'm 53, haven't had a period since June. Got to 300 odd days period free last year before I came on out of the blue 🙄 Unfortunately I can't take HRT due to health condition and no supplements because they could affect my current medication.

I'm really sorry you are going through this too ❤
