He’s amazing. The fact that he spent his sabbatical in NY with a tutor several hours a day to learn German before taking the Bayern job is incredible. It’s his 5th language!

. Lost my mind when he wore that. He needs to bring it back towards end of season when it’s warm.it’s not easy to learn a new language at all esp when older. And for him to learn German for managing is really amazing. Because there’s many coaches who don’t.

This is so endearing. (Yeah that looks like Cris in the foreground.) I love that he has so much respect for Cruyff. I was told that one of the first things he put in his office when he joined Man City is a pic of Cruyff. And then he encouraged players to display photos of whomever or whatever inspires them and those photos are displayed on a wall in a hallway in between the dressing room and the doors leading to the pitch at the Etihad so the players walk by it before every home game. (The wall is covered by a screen on non-game days for privacy.)
I saw on another IG account that fans gave Pep a standing ovation when he was shown on the big screens. I hope that’s true, that’d be amazing.
