Guys, do we think it’s a simple case of: this team has won back to back PL trophies, and multiple cups and PL trophies the past few years, and they just aren’t hungry for it like Arsenal are (and Man U now that they’ve remembered how to play football)? I’ve been thinking about this lately.
Obviously this doesn’t apply to Haaland and a couple of others. But maybe it’s a motivation issue in combination with Pep’s tactics.
A good team don't just turn bad overnight. Look at the Liverpool yeah different, as others say not enough money has been spent on midfield, but they won a few games then the other night 2-0 nil up and then got battered 2nd half. A lot of the other teams have worked out how to play against some of the "big 6" and have improved player wise too. Pep does baffle with the the seemed reluctance to put on subs earlier. If certain players are not performing well or getting outplayed then sub them give it time to get better not just 5 or 6 mins at the end.I understand that completely.
