I use the UK Ladies Peloton group for what not to buy/where not to stay

It’s ultimate litmus paper for what is naff/nouveau riche!

Their only redeeming feature is they aren’t constantly wetting their middle aged knickers over Bradley unlike Roses Rebels 🙄
I find Bradley so annoying but unfortunately I really like his playlists so end up doing a lot of his classes anyway 🤣

Bradley seriously gives me the ick - I have no idea how he is so popular! He is the one instructor I wish I could just block so his rides don't come up when I'm trying to work through a set of types of rides!

Same! He’s the sort of guy you know is humourless and rude to service staff in real life.

I was at Battersea Power Station a few weeks back, I was admiring a couple of small dogs when I looked up and noticed the owner’s Peloton hoody. It was Bradley and his wife out walking their pooches, their faces’ could have curdled milk and they definitely had an air about them that wouldn’t make you want to serve them that’s for sure and definitely wouldn’t have me creaming my knickers much to the disappointment of the Roses Rebels

I did one of his rides live in the studio & he had a bit of an attitude, almost like he had zero interest in speaking to any of the members after the ride. His ride was boring too.

That’s interesting. I can’t do his classes either.
I did a Ben class in person and he was delightful afterwards, very chatty and engaging. Same with Sam, he always hangs around for anyone who wants a longer conversation.

Ben and Hannah were amazing with the members! I’ve not done a Sam ride in person but he seems like such a beautiful person.

How do you get into an in person class?
Or try here https://studio.onepeloton.co.uk/london/schedule

I think the classes go live on a Thursday at 5pm.

I had an invite when the studios first opened to do a Leanne live ride, I went cos it was free, I didn’t rate her at the time, she was such a lovely person, everything you see on the screen, time for everyone, completely changed my mind about her, almost makes me want to wear more sparkles ✨

Avoid Bradders like the plague. Gives me the ick too. Bens a bit dull. Sorry Ben, sure he’s a lovely person. Stick with the gals

aw i’m so glad leanne is nice in real life, i think she’s my favourite instructor! i prefer power zone rides though, i wish she would do them 😂 if they could swap her for olivia on power zone i would be very pleased! i think olivia is the only instructor i don’t like doing rides “with”

kind of lying by writing the above in present tense because it’s been MONTHS since i was on my bike, really need to get my finger out my a lol

I've done Ben's split program this week. Jezzzz. I'm not OK. The pain after the leg day one. It needs to come with a disclaimer.
It's been a killer. Recommend if anyone wants a challenge and wants to be in pure agony doing simple things like going to the toilet and putting your shoes on. Knock yourselves out 🤣

Olivia’s rides are just so unnecessarily difficult! I like a challenge but the resistance and cadence combinations she comes up with are so unachievable!

I avoid Olivia like the plague. There’s no thought to her rides except go fast as possible whilst out of the saddle. Her powerzone rides are so annoying as you can tell she’s irritated by having to stick to zones.

Leanne’s low impact rides are my favourite when I can’t be bothered as they’re sneaky hard.

Is it me or are all the classes getting harder. I did a low impact Leanne class the other day and practically needed rescuss.
I just want an old fashioned spin with out nearly passing out. I swear the metrics are my own worst enemy, it's hard to switch off though from them though.
I have an older style bike, it needs recalibrating I think but I darent as I know I will permanently screw it up.

I did the leg day one 3 days ago and haven’t been able to go back on the bike since for the next class. I do plenty strength classes but it’s really killed my legs off!

Low impact just means no out of saddle and they tend not to go up to 120 cadence. They can still be quite hard!
I find certain instructors easier so if I don’t want too tough I know Bradley’s classes are usually easy ish (although Bradley creeps me out!) - I did a Hannah Corbin one once and it was really easy.

I think this is one of the reasons I'm glad I don't have the actual bike and just use my own crappy spin bike. I do have cadence and speed sensors but no real idea as to whether I'm using the right resistance. I try my best to match it by feel but I'm probably way off 🤣

That’s how I used peloton during pandemic. I had the speed and cadence monitors but resistance was a guess.
Then I got the actual peloton bike and thought wow, this is harder than before 😂
