I do wonder if the whole company is about to go pop sometime this year? They've raised more money to keep it going while she share price is around $8 and still keeps falling. I remember when people were saying buying shares at $100 would be a good idea!

They won't be making their bikes themselves anymore while they concentrate on software, but will anywhere be making them? Must cost a fortune to switch production elsewhere.

Aren’t they just going back to what they did before with manufacturing of the bikes? I doubt they’ll go bust, someone will come in and save them no doubt

Hahahaha!
Personally I just use the digital app and a moderately priced spin bike, but it is making me want to buy the tread 👀 if my June holiday gets cancelled me and my fiance have decided that's what we'll spend the refund on
still open for adoption so’s you know 😐

I’ve got the bike which I use quite alot but I’m really tempted to get the tread. Is it really worth it if you already have the bike? Also my bike is in an upstairs bedroom which is over the garage, does anyone else have a tread upstairs?

Also considering this as an alternative so thank you! Do you use the app on an iPad with a screen holder or your TV? My thing that’s putting me off buying a Peleton is the need for the £39 app for the bike to work opposed to the cost of the bike.
I just Bluetooth mine to my tv so I can watch it on there, the Bluetooth can be a bit patchy though sometimes so my husband bought a cable. But I can also put my iPad on the bike iPad holder, I just like to have it on the tv. I would love a peloton bike but it’s the subscription that puts me off because I don’t think the screen even works if you cancel the subscription so without it the bike is useless. I could be wrong on that but I don’t think I am. Same with the treadmill as we are starting to look at them, and again would love a peloton one but I don’t want to be stuck with such an expensive subscription on top.

Wow does it? Do you know how I do it?
I think you can do it through the peloton app on your watch, I’m going to test it at lunch so will report back!

It makes my decision to get the original bike feel better too! I’m not fussed on the auto resistance personally

To save me reading back the entire thread- who do we think are friends and who seems aloof?

Leanne, Ben and Hoskins are clearly mates and they occasionally post with Hannah plus the running crew went to the wedding (Suzie and Jocelyn) but Sam is never anywhere on anyone’s photos or invites?

in the US Jess S and Kirsten were super thick as thieves but that seems to have quietened. Who else?
I remember Leanne and Hannah used to post a lot together and then seemed to drop off. I was always curious why and thought it was interesting Hannah wasn’t at the wedding

Do they usually keep the classes of instructors that have left on demand? I have a couple of Kendall’s classes that are my go to if I want a high calorie burn!

I didn't realise the Canadian subscription for the app is going up to $30, that's a 130% increase 😳

I guess the fact the price increase isn't applied until December gives people time to research their options. I don't understand why there doesn't seem to be an option to pay annually for the UK app though 🤔

I was really surprised that Hannah wasn't at Ben and Leanne's wedding. I know she was abroad but surely she'd have known the date for the wedding.
I remember when Sam was in The King and I, a load of the instructors went to see him perform, so I don't think there's any beef, or at least wasn't at that point.
Hannah and Leanne apparently don’t get a long at all, I heard it through the grape vine from some of Hannah’s super fans.

I listen to the pelobuddy podcast and I think they said they have filed patents for the rower so I think you're definitely right in it being far away.

Really curious to hear about other people's "week of Peloton" workouts like what they've been sharing on their Instagram page. I'm currently doing 3 rides a week but feel like I could be better utilizing all the different range of classes. Probably going to add 2 or 3 strength classes into the mix and a lower impact ride to improve technique and stamina. What do everyone else's average week look like?

Guys if you get to go to the studio, do it!! It was amazing 🤩
Do you have to pay? Or it’s just included in your membership and you join a waitlist. I did get the email the other week, but live at the wrong end of the country, so didn’t fill it in.

Ah amazing thank you will have a look through these! My husband did the Denis Eminem ride and loved it too so have it book marked 😊 currently using pedals but on the hunt for super reps because think that will make a difference to how I get on! (I hope- my stats are shocking 😅) x
Oh it’s 💯 better with the shoes! Makes all the difference to how you use the muscles in your legs too

I did a pop punk bootcamp with Callie today and it was so much fun 🤘

I told myself I’d have a day off today to enjoy having clean hair for once but I’m already eyeing it up. Want to try the arm and interval classes 👀

What have you picked for your first classes?
I’m going to have go at a few different ones, I like dance music to exercise to so will go for them and then when my shoes arrive I’m going to do the power zones course. Not really bothered about the beginners course although I’ll probably regret saying that!

I’ve ordered. Countdown is on, bloody long one 8 weeks to go.
You can try to reschedule, as long as it’s being delivered by Peloton. I tried but couldn’t get anything earlier but some people have managed to get delivery reduced to a couple of weeks

I've done Ben's split program this week. Jezzzz. I'm not OK. The pain after the leg day one. It needs to come with a disclaimer.
It's been a killer. Recommend if anyone wants a challenge and wants to be in pure agony doing simple things like going to the toilet and putting your shoes on. Knock yourselves out 🤣
I did the leg day one 3 days ago and haven’t been able to go back on the bike since for the next class. I do plenty strength classes but it’s really killed my legs off!
---
Is it me or are all the classes getting harder. I did a low impact Leanne class the other day and practically needed rescuss.
I just want an old fashioned spin with out nearly passing out. I swear the metrics are my own worst enemy, it's hard to switch off though from them though.
I have an older style bike, it needs recalibrating I think but I darent as I know I will permanently screw it up.
Low impact just means no out of saddle and they tend not to go up to 120 cadence. They can still be quite hard!
I find certain instructors easier so if I don’t want too tough I know Bradley’s classes are usually easy ish (although Bradley creeps me out!) - I did a Hannah Corbin one once and it was really easy.
