I had no idea he was gay! I’m female and was planning to marry him, so it puts a real spanner in the works 😂😂😂

He's not spoken out explicitly (as far as I know) about his sexuality and confirming anything. He's a huge LGBTQ+ ally, he has a trans sister who he's very openly supportive of.
I would guess he might be open/pan potentially but 🤷🏼‍♀️ he hasn't said and I don't think it really matters. He's spectacular.

It boggles my mind that an actors sexuality was ever considered a deal breaker for studios. Actors are ACTING - if they are good at it, they will make you believe anything! I mean christ almighty just look at the legions of women of all ages lusting after Andrew Scott and Jonathan Bailey. Pedro is no exception, I adore him for the way he plays into it without giving anything away.

I do worry there will be an increase in heart attacks for women over a certain age tho when that new gay cowboy film starring him and Ethan Hawke comes out :ROFLMAO:

I am loving TLOU and have been down a bit of a Pedro rabbit hole recently so glad I found this thread! I’m not usually one for fancying actors but he definitely has *something* and seems to have a great personality and sense of humour based on interviews and interactions with co stars.

I personally think he is probably gay/bi and doesn’t feel the need to announce his sexuality, nor does he seem to care about the speculation which is the best attitude to have I think!

I’ve seen a video on Twitter from the 90s where he’s giving off a more campy (for want of a better word) vibe; his energy nowadays is more typically masculine I feel. It’s probably the case for a lot of queer actors that they have lean into their ‘hetero’ side for roles.

He plays really suave or brooding characters a lot of the time but IRL he seems not to take himself too seriously. This bit of an interview with him made me laugh 😂

Loved him in Narcos and have swooned after him ever since.

Can’t watch TLOU , anything vaguely zombie or flesh eating flora scares the living shit out of me.

Yeah I think he’s gay or bi, probably leaning towards men if he’s the latter. I’m glad he keeps people guessing because why should anyone have to come out and explicitly state their sexuality to the world, there’s no need!

I do think with actors, knowing they’re not heterosexual inevitably means the immersion on screen is a little affected when they’re in straight romantic scenes. NPH is a good example above, and Luke Evans is another off the top of my head, BUT it’s no different to the same lack of immersion you have when you notice a prop coffee cup is empty or see a boom mic wander into shot 😆 Pedro is the kind of actor who can genuinely deliver chemistry on screen whether it’s romantic or otherwise, and I bloody love him for it. If anyone has missed it, you should really watch his Hot Ones interview on YouTube, he’s just SO likeable.

Bumping because we need more Pedro and The Last of Us is upon us.

Lots of love from a happily married lady that will always perve over him.

It’s still hard out there in the acting world for people to be definitive in their sexuality. Take Neil Patrick Harris, once he came out, you see his career has been steered towards mostly gay roles. This is probably Neil accepting those roles but it makes you wonder if he no longer was being offered straight character parts.

A part of me also thinks Pedro doesn’t want to alienate factions his audience by announcing his sexuality. This way everyone can enjoy him.

There’s interviews where he’s talked about things like it’s normal for men to be attracted to other men and want to experiment. I think he’s possibly just got quite a fluid sexuality, maybe that’s why he doesn’t define it?

Anyway if anyone is wondering what Pedro Pascal orders in Starbucks it’s 6 shots of espresso in a venti cup with ALL the ice.
American Starbucks orders will never cease to amaze/baffle/terrify me. Happy to see that PP’s seems relatively normal in comparison to others I’ve seen with their foams, pumps, syrups and drizzles…
