Same! I would be mortified to ask my own parents/husband for money never mind a bunch of strangers on the internet. It’s so weird to me and it is WILD how often it seems to happen. I get that people feel like a community but it’s just people who listen to the same radio show as you.I would be MORTIFIED if anyone suggested setting up a GoFundMe on my behalf, for something I bought which then broke.
